"We had an outstanding time at this beautifully located accommodation, surrounded by peace and nature. The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. Parking was in a free public car park three minutes walk...

"A stop off to extend our time in the area. The price most like reflected the location rather than the facilities which were quite dated. That said it was perfect for our needs as a family of 5. Staff were very friendly and the pool was nice. Great location and secure parking as well had a trailer."

"We spent 4 nights at the lovely Petit Manoir in the Josephine Baker room. The facilities were great, large bedroom and bath, lots of storage room for clothes, location couldn’t be beat, and historic ambiance was everywhere. For disabled or elderly, I would not recommend it bc you have to walk up a large wooden spiral staircase (yes there is a railing, but a bit tricky for those whose balance is a little off). The breakfast was served daily in the downstairs dining room or by the pool (your preference) and it was delicious and came with the room. There is a small pool in the courtyard, but only large enough for 4 lounge chairs. We had a very early departure and the office arranged for a taxi to pick us up for the train station. Carrying luggage up and down that staircase was a bit tricky. I liked the location of the hotel in that you were in the center of town, yet you heard very little noise from the crowded streets. The staff was super friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Highly recommended!"

"What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat."
