“The staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly. We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa. The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights. ”

Pleasant evening-turn downs with a room refresh given. Villa Lara is 1 minute walk from the Tours pick-up, the Cathedral, shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended. ”

“A lovely boutique style hotel within a short walk of all the sights Bayeux has to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable, with views of the cathedral. Aircon was excellent. Shower a bit tight but not a problem. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Johnny and Mathieu for their help with the new, simple (!!!???) toll free motorway charges. Chaotic!!! Mathieu sent us to his Tabac ami who sorted our problem. Brits beware!! All's well that end well. ”
