"Great location, but poor soundproofing
The location is perfect, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent and had enough choices to satisfy everyone. The front desk staff were also very nice and helpful, especially when we had an issue with our room.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing between rooms is not good. The hotel was full of families with babies during our stay, and our first night was very difficult. We were given a connecting room next to a family with a baby. Because of the connecting door, we could hear them coming in and out of the room throughout the night, and the door itself was not very soundproof. On top of that, the baby cried throughout much of the night, which kept waking us up.
Of course, the family has every right to be there, and I don't blame them at all. The problem is really the poor soundproofing, which made it impossible for us to sleep well.
Thankfully, the front desk staff were very understanding and helped us move to another room for the second night. We really appreciated their effort and excellent customer service.
Overall, great location, clean rooms, decent breakfast with enough choices, and very helpful staff, but the soundproofing is a significant issue. I would recommend requesting a room that is not connecting to another room, especially if you are a light sleeper."
