“My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. ”

“Staying at La Terrazza was a great choice. The room was comfortable and warm (we had a couple of coolish nights), the bathroom was clean, the shower had lots of hot water and wonderful pressure and the kitchen had everything would we have liked to cook. The breakfast was great with the star being the home made apple cake with home grown apples and free range eggs from Pino's chickens. Pino is a great host, proving tips to where to eat and what to do in the area. I would certainly recommend his...

“My 13 yr old daughter and I stayed at Villa VEA for 4 nights after a 2 week tour of Greece. It was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! From the moment we arrived to the moment we stepped onto the train to leave, they were there to help us. My daughter even learned to make pasta! Loved our room overlooking the mountain, the food was fantastic, the pool refreshing and the peacefulness priceless.
