I ahve expedia VIP access. However, the hotel did not give any special welcome or upgrade. When I asked the reception woman for an upgrade, she told she already upgraded me. But when I went to the room, the room looked very standard. When I was checking out in the next day, I asked the reception guy if my room was upgraded, he said it was a standard room. الفندق جيد، وأنا عندي إكسبيديا في آي بي، ولكن الفندق لم يعطني أي ترقية لغرفتي ولا أي معاملة، والأمر المحزن أن موظفة الاستقبال قالت لي إنها أعطتني ترقية، ولما توجهت للغرفة لاحظت أنها عادية جدا، وفي اليوم التالي عند إجرائي لإجراءات الخروج سألت موظف الاستقبال هل غرفتي تم ترقيتها، فقال لي: لم تتم أية ترقية ولكنها غرفة عادية. فأصابني الذهول، كنت أتمنى أن الموظفة تكون صادقة.

Very modern and clean property with spacious bedroom and bathroom with nice balcony looking out towards the ocean. I had booked half-board and whilest the buffet offerings were OK for the three days I was there, it would have become a little tedious over a longer period. The omelette station at breakfast, doubling up as a speciality offering at dinner, was very good and I recommend giving them some business. All of the restaurant staff were were very obliging and made sure I had good meals. Check-in and check-out were more laborious than they should have been, as was a comparatively simple request to print out a car rental voucher, which took over an hour. The front-office steam were very pleasant and keen to please, but I feel some more training in these fundamentals may be required. In summary, a very pleasant stay in a high-class hotel. PS Don't trust Google Maps or TomTom if you are finding your own way there. Google Maps dropped me in the middle of nowhere and TomTom had never heard of the hotel Waze was just fine.

Not enough pool beds to call yourself a resort.
Everything was good room wise and service but if you call yourself a resort I expect enough beds at the pool area so you can lay out. There was plenty of room but limited beds. We had a big terrace at our 5th floor apartment but no bed there either so we could not use the facilities as you should in a place where there is nothing else even close to go to. We had to waste hours before someone would get up and leave pool area to lay down there.

Great pool, big, bright rooms but in middle of nowhere. Staff need training; long wait times for breakfast, no coffee offered and front desk inconsistent. My request for a taxi was forgotten, then two gentlemen passed me off to resume doing nothing while the third person, who was helping someone else, was charged with getting me a taxi. Note also there is no alcohol served in the hotel.

Modern, comfortable room with excellent shower and luxurious bed. Wonderful view looking out over swimming pool, with sea in the distance. Good buffet breakfast, with friendly staff and adequate range of food to suit international guests. Mixed customer service performance with repeated requests for our fridge to be fixed and for the location of the hotel's beach club to be provided not fulfilled. We did not have a working fridge for the whole duration of our stay.

We found the atmosphere very relaxing and the staff very welcoming. However the air conditioning in our room got colder and colder so we had to turn it off. Also we did a Salalah city tour with your agent in reception. While we enjoyed the tour, we found his English so limited that it was impossible to get any worthwhile information.

Currently, we have 3 operating restaurants that our guests can choose from. Our Sky Grill Restaurant which just recently opened is a must-try, and since the opening, we have been receiving excellent reviews and compliments. We regret to know that your were not impressed with the level of service from our team. Rest assured that this is not the usual standard that we are known for. We shall direct our efforts in improving this area. Lovely stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Hotel during our visit to Salalah. The hotel is still only partially open with the rest to be completed over the next few months. The open tower is clean and fully functional including a restaurant with good food. We had no disruption from any ongoing work. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Resort 4/5 stelle (piu' da 4!). Posizione piuttosto periferica, necessaria la macchina; personale complessivamente non molto preparato secondo i nostri standard e poco empatico. Bella la piscina con annesso giardino, ma la temperatura dell'acqua troppo alta così come la doccia esterna, verso il tardo pomeriggio era invasa da molti bambini rumorosi. Cucina (avevamo HB) mediocre come qualità e ripetitiva. Pulizia complessiva sufficiente, ma scarsa attenzione ai particolari (asciugamani puliti ma sfilacciati, non rinnovo rifornimento bagno, aria condizionata molto alta). Complessivamente giudizio medio, con diverse cose da migliorare.
