DI-SAS-TER! The property is under renovation and THEY WERE NOT TAKING GUESTS IN!!!! I HAD A RESERVATION THAT THEY DID NOT HONOUR. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS HAPPENS BUT SOMEONE HAS TO GIVE ME SOME KIND OF COMPENSATION AS I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER ACCOMODATION AT 6 PM ON THE DAY MY RESERVATION STARTED! EITHER EXPEDIA OR JADE MOTEL HAS TO COME UP WITH SOME KIND OF COMPENSATION FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

The gentleman who recieved us was very friendly and kind with little knowledge of hospitality sector. The lake view is great too. The motel is very close to where you can watch sockeye salmon run.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the suite above us was occupied by a noisy individual who made sleep impossible. the manager responded promptly and we still enjoyed a restful sleep.

Budget room just fine

Greeted upon arrival. Attendant took us to our room. She immediately inquired if we liked the. All good. Basic room but met our needs and expections. Perhaps a need to change mattress as it was a bit too soft.

No office so we had to call to get checked in. Facility was right on the highway so it was noisy. Bed was good, and room was clean. Some renovations were not very professional - glue from baseboard smeared on the wall, unfinished ceiling repairs, plumbing in tub hooked up backwards on shower (hot was cold, cold was hot), unfinished painting.

Room smells like smoke. I asked to be moved because the first room smelled like someone had been smoking in it despite all the no smoking signs. New room was fine until I left and came back. The manager is nice but I'm guessing he's ignoring whoever is in room #1. To bad because the place could be nice when they get it fixed up and the views on the back side are excellent.

Unfortunately, the room was VERY dirty. There was a smashed cockroach on the wall, another live cockroach coming out of a light fixture. The shower looked brown and grungy, as if it hadn't been cleaned ... ever. There was even what looked like mucus smeared all over the wall. When they showed the room, the lock didn't work... I was told not to worry. Slept on top of the comforter, fully clothed. Had booked for 2 nights, needless to say it was 1 and done - only because it was late and we had no where else to go. Do not recommend.

Very modern and clean rooms. From my room on the top floor at the back there was an amazing view. There are bbq's in close proximity to most rooms as well as a covered area with a couple large bbq's and benches. Great place for a family reunion, group of friends get together or just a quick get away. Would highly recommend to anyone

They are obviously upgrading the property so it’s in the works. The floor was dusty and dirty from construction. The bedding needed to be changed as you could see flecks that were dirty and the person who came to do so, was trying to argue they were stains even though you could smear the substance. The coffee cups were dirty. Even upon check in no one was in the office and the attendant from the gas station had to get keys for us. It was a strange and not ideal stay but I think it will get better as they continue the upgrades

This property is in a beautiful part of BC. But it’s everything you’d expect for the price. The walls are very thin (heard every word of a lengthy conversation my neighbour was having on the phone), the bed was old and sagging, and the room was tired. BUT the price was right for place to sleep. Overall: it’s ok.
