Close to the highway, but I was surprised that the noise wasn't bad at all. Renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and painted a lovely shade of salmon which suits the name of hotel. The lady at the desk was helpful and changed my room so I could see my vehicle that was loaded full. Very reasonable price and would definitely stay here again. Also must see Canoe beach park which is close by.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. My only error when I booked was not asking for a room with a stand-up shower and kitchen/kitchenette. Our room did have a mini fridge, coffee maker and a microwave which was very helpful.

Very nice staff and room was clean and was easy to load and unload the car. Rooms are a bit dated as it's an older motel but they keep it nice and very clean compared to the big chain hotels we have stayed at in our way to Vancouver from manitoba.

i loved the fact that there was a great restaurant and beach right across the hiway! Like a 5 min drive down to the lakeside. Peaceful, no crowds. Lovely get-away and very spacious rooms. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine were a real bonus!

Travelling solo and needed a reasonable rate for a 1 night stay. Motel Happy Salmon provided rooms that are very clean and the staff were very friendly. My only recommendation is to update their TVs as they are outdated and small with fuzzy resolution.

This is the second time staying at the Motel Happy Salmon ☺️. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very helpful and lovely. It’s our go to place to stay when in the Salmon Arm area.

A very comfortable, clean room. Had a good sleep in the comfy bed. Ameneties were all I needed with coffee maker, microwave & small fridge. The tv worked & was easy to navigate. ( some are not) the bathroom also clean with new fixtures. What was scarey to me was turning west onto the highway...nothing the motel can do about that! Just have patience!

The motel is within walking distance to Canooligans restaurant and pub in Canoe, but you have to cross a main Hwy to get there. The rooms appear to have been redecorated and are nicely done but quite spartan. Not much in the way of furniture in the room! It was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable.

Lovely lady at check-in. Exterior property showing its age but room was a nice surprise. Put us at back (quiet) and when we arrived very tired , room smelled nice (citrus!) and everything spotless. New bathroom with great shower and tub area. Slept well but woke to neighbours but not their fault they were being jerks at 4:30 am. Only stayed overnight but would stay again!
