"Gostaria de realçar o positivo e a boa impressao que ficou do empreendimento. O staff super simpático e atencioso, mesmo com o nervosismo mal escondido. Nota menos positiva só mesmo o tempo no check-in, demorado a meu ver (com reserva efetuada), e o numero reduzido de espreguiçadeiras na zona da piscina, o que levou a alguns clientes terem de ficar na relva (solução menos ma), nas cadeiras das mesas de bar (retirando-as dessas mesmas mesas) ou no chao duro (bastante desconfortável). Sinceramente, deveria ser uma situação a rever. Como para criticas devera haver sugestões, aqui ficam as nossas - disponibilização de "puffs", colchoes de espuma ou, consoante a época do ano, mobilizar espreguiçadeiras da piscina interior para o exterior, como medida esporádica e pontual."

"We just started here and were completely blown away. What we expected to be a comfortable base for exploring the region turned into one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever had. The food, first and foremost, deserves serious praise — easily among the best meals we’ve eaten anywhere. Every dish was thoughtful, fresh, and beautifully executed. The chef is incredibly talented, and the level of quality was simply unexpected for a hotel of this size. It felt more like dining at a Michelin-starred retreat than a small hotel. Beyond the food, the design of the hotel itself was stunning. The architecture blends modern elegance with regional character, and the lighting in the hotel is amazing. You can tell Keren is an interior designer. What really set this place apart, though, were the hosts. They were incredibly gracious and generous with their time, offering genuine hospitality and sharing the story of how they built the hotel. As we’re considering a move to Portugal ourselves, their insight into the process — the challenges, the rewards, and the local culture — was incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated. Ziv was always ready with great suggestions and recommendations for the area This is more than just a place to stay. It’s an experience. We left feeling inspired, well-fed, and extremely grateful. We can’t recommend it enough."

"Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. "
