Lovely, lovely hotel. Although the property has been a guesthouse for hundreds of years, all the modern conveniences are there. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was great and the breakfast buffet was good.

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Salzburg. Easy walking distance to several attractions nearby. Very modern and clean rooms and fantastic breakfast as well as cafe/bar. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating for our stay. In fact, we had lost a bag on a city bus the day we arrived. The front desk staff overheard our situation, and thanks to their help, we were able to track down the bag and save our vacation! 5 stars for the Arthotel Blaue Gans!

Need better blinds to block light!

Great hotel. However, they need better curtains and blinds to block off light. Bed was super comfortable but could not sleep long enough due to light flooding in! Otherwise, a really tastefully done swanky hotel in the best location! Staff were delightful!
