Relocated to better appartment to be closer to friends, which was happily accommodated by reception staff for extra pay. Nice hotel complex with lovely pool and spa. Well equipped kitchen. Awful wifi, didn’t work at all in our area. Kitchen cleaning expected as part of check out.

Samoëns FEB 2023

Nice place, great location for grand massif ski lift and only short 5 min walk into town. Pool and SPA facilities were great after long day on the slopes. Room of decent standard although heating is controlled by reception, ours kept going off and because reception is part time couldn’t always contact them to switch it on. Kids enjoyed the pool table in reception but only downside was they closed early at 8pm could have been done with staying open a little longer. Negatives would be that WiFi is very poor, we struggled with connectivity all week. And it would have been nice to receive fresh towels every couple days rather than having into wash our own (at cost)

Super établissement, la piscine est extra, l’appartement bien équipé (manque juste un barbecue !) le personnel aux petits oignons… juste matelas un peu mou. on reviendra sans faute !

tout était parfait sauf le parking souterrain. j'avais un emplacement réservé (70 €) et j'ai du batailler toute la semaine car mon emplacement était toujours pris...aucune réaction de la réception...une honte !!!!

Nous avons apprécié la location et la taille de notre app. Nous avons enlevé nos poubelles de cuisinesans d‘être gênés. Mais pour le prix on ne peut pas attendre que le l‘ hôte enléve également le linge des lits,ramasse les serviettes etc. , nettoye la cuisine . Nous l‘avons fait, mais nous n’avons pas trouvé ce réglement acceptable par rapport du prix réglé.

Samoens 11-18 July

We had an excellent stay of 1 week. The residence has great facilities and very friendly and efficient staff. The only improvements I would have liked are: 1. A change of towels mid-week 2. Better quality and a range of bed pillows (the ones we had were thin and lumpy). The Samoens area is excellent. With a wide range of things to do for a family and a great village centre.

Lovely accommodation, excellent facilities. Fantastic pool and spa area free for use as a guest. Ski lockers in the basement area of each chalet block for storage. Gondola only a 5-minute walk down the road. Easy access to Samoens.

Great winter holiday

Samoëns is a great French village with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. CGH residences are very close to the gondola and has a lovely pool and spa.

Great location. Nice communal areas. Bathrooms need refurbishing. Stayed in room next to a large dog that kept barking and leaving its mark all around the outside of the hotel. Staff very good. Would return.

Residentie is in lijn met de CGH standaard en dan ook zeer aangenaam. Ligt ook niet zo ver van de lift naar boven. Kan enkel aanraden voor zij die zouden twijfelen. Enkel de Wifi liet het af en toe afweten ...

Très jolie complexe mais manque de propreté

Le complexe, la disposition du chalet et l’equipement du chalet est irréprochable. Même l’insonorisation est parfaite. Les gens de la réception sont très serviable et toujours à notre écoute ce qui est très agréable et contribue vraiment à de bonnes vacances. En revanche la propreté du chalet laisse à désiré. Les pièces n’étaient pas nettoyées correctement (poussière, moustique écrasé sur un mur...), dans une des chambre la douche ne s’évacuait pas, les dessus de lit ne sont clairement jamais lavé (tâches de différentes couleurs...)et il serait préférable d’eviter de laisser les coussins usagés (jaune) dans l’armoire, il va de soit que personne ne l’utilisera! Malgré ces aspects désagréables, nous avons tout de même passé de super vacances.

Really nice apartment. Ideal location.

Really nice apartment in easy walking distance of Samoens but also the Grand Massif lift. Loads to do in the area at this time of year (August). Kids (13/11/7) had a great time swimming in lakes, riding, whitewater rafting, canyoning etc. Good restaurants in easy walking distance. Really nice pool and spa facilities. Really comfortable beds and spacious apartment. Great views of the mountains from all but one room.

Great accomodation and well located in Samoëns

Very good accomodation located within easy walk of town. Friendly staff, excellent pool and spa area, secure car parking. Apartments are well equipped and functional. Would recommend. Very picturesque traditional small town which is well placed within short driving distances of many other tourist areas.

Heerlijke gezinsplek, voor ieder wat wils

Sluit me aan bij alle lovende reviews! Een heerlijk plekje! Enkele puntjes die ms nuttig zijn te weten: -De residence is minder ruim dan het lijkt, vond ik. Je zit redelijk dicht op elkaar -Ik had voorkeur opgegeven voor begane grond/tuintje, maar had toch een boven-appt gekregen. Toen ik vroeg om een ander kon ik zelf een paar andere appt bekijken. Uiteindelijk Edelweis 01, dichtbij de spa en prima plekje. -Appt zijn wat gehorig, wij hoorden dat de bovenburen 's ochtends eerder wakker waren dan wij... -Senseo koffieapparaat. Nespresso te huur bij receptie voor 10euro/week - Inventaris compleet voor 8p maar sober. Geen zout/peper, geen kaarsenhoudertjes, geen ligbedjes -Beslist kindvriendelijk, is leuk, maar dit betekent ook dat je her en der kindergeluiden hoort -De spa is maar tot 20u open -Personeel is flexibel, gelukkig geen strenge controle in de spa op kleding oid. Wij mochten om 12u vertrekken ipv 10u. -Wifi is matig/redelijk, je moet wel steeds weer inloggen - Supermarkt dichtbij (Sherpa) - To do: Cirque du Fer a Cheval, Col de Joux Plane/Bourgeoise (uitzicht Mont Blanc!), raften (Altitude Rafting in Sixt), Gorges de Tines (niet spectaculair, een relaxte rondwandeling 45min). Met de Grand Massif Express omhoog en daar rondwandelen via meer. Dit is wel echt een skigebied, geen bewegwijzering.

Good family ski sparent

Good location for family ski. Overall comfortable accommodation and spacious for ski apartment. Well equipped kitchen though a bit tight on work surface. Our terrace door was broken and despite maintenance saying it would be fixed early in the week, there was no follow up snd no information from staff- didn't bother us on this trip but i would have expected some communication. Pool spa area is nice enough though busy in evenings and fairly cool temperature.

A super location for a family holiday.

Lovely apartments - lovely stay and thank you very much for an upgrade, really appreciated it. Nice leisure facilities although it would be good to have an adults only hour in the pool towards the end of the evening for a little more relaxation. It was a bit of a workout having to strip all beds and clean before we left otherwise I would give the place 5 stars all round.

très confortable et spacieux.

Appartement relativement spacieux pour une station. le tout est très fonctionnel et le parking en-dessous est très pratique. La piscine est bien agréable en fin de journée (nous y étions en été).

A welcome place for a family ski holiday.

Had a lovely stay in this residence.It is comfortable,warm and clean although the couches in the sitting area could be a bit more comfortable! The staff are very nice and kindly offered us an extra room upgrade due to low occupation which was greatly appreciated. Spa facilities are lovely although an adults only hour in the pool would be of benefit as it gets crowded in the evening with children.Having to strip beds and clean rooms before leaving is a little unwelcome after a holiday with the prices charged. Despite this- hope to return.
