The check in staff were attentive and friendly. This hotel is so nice we appreciate the attention to detail. We enjoyed having The Blue Mermaid close by and a lot of other great shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful entry. Nice staff. Rooms are decorated with a tasteful nautical theme. Great location to restaurants, Alcatraz, and Ghirardelli’s. Very comfortable beds.

A great location! We enjoyed the historic feel and proximity to Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman’s Wharf! Did not feel much enthusiasm in terms of hospitality and the room was small with a strange shower. The lobby and restaurant were very nice! Would recommend if only for the location; but definitely not a luxury hotel! History buffs will enjoy the adjoining Museum and there is a nice Wine Tasting Room in the same building!

Staff excellent, location for us was great. The quieter end of Fisherman’s Wharf. Boutique feel stay in an historic area. Hotel was old Del Monte packing facility. Interior is awesome. Elegantly done.
Old Del Monte building, now The Argonaught.
First thing in the morning. Super quiet. Only runners/walkers out.
