Take note: you need a car, or otherwise $25 for taxi each way into the township. Guys were doing work on the property, locks were broken, l was locked in the building. For 30mins. Restaurant didn’t exist. Supposed to stayed for two nights, stayed for one. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Beautiful countryside, wouldn’t rate this accommodation at all, terrible.

Was hoping for more.

When you find this property (the Google Map link in the Confirmation from Hotels.com takes you wrongly INTO the old town and they have quoted the distance to San Gimignano as the crow flies- NOT the road distance) it might be difficult to park. Search for the Reception door where a sign will say to ring the bell. It’s an unsigned/unnamed switch on the outside wall like a light switch. You will be pointed to go upstairs to your room Rooms are large and airy. No fridge, kettle, cups, tea or coffee. The only thing welcoming thing was the other guests as we all sat under a veranda that evening. Lovely garden setting and a pool we were told we could use though the sign on its gate said do not enter. It describes itself as agrotourism but the only connection is the fact that the building is on someone’s pretty rural property with a view across the valley to San Gimignano. Too highly priced.

Tuscany countryside

A very nice location in the middle of Tuscany countryside but at close distance to San Gimignano. Car needed to get there. The aircon unit in our bedroom was quite noisy and without a controller, the daughter room had a much better unit with remote control. Wifi not very reliable, worked better in the morning.

Stupendo casolare a due passi da San Giminiano

Posizione stupenda, pulizia eccellente, letto comodo e doccia enorme. .... cosa chiedere di più per una 3 giorni alla scoperta delle città d'arte. Situato a 10 minuti da San Giminiano e a 25/30 km da Siena e Volterra. Consigliatissimo! !!!

The place is not easy to find without gps, but it is a nice drive through the olive trees and wine groves that surround it. Very close to Sangimignano. Our room was basic but nicely done, the old wooden beams added character. The bathroom was very nicely done had a great shower. Comfortable bed. Free wifi good reception in our room. There is a pool which is probably awesome but we didn't use it. Nice views from the grounds.

un coin de paradis

malgré un acces un peu difficile (route en terre et "caillouteuse" l'endroit est trés reposant.entouré de vignes et d olivier.trés proche de san gimignano,cette casolare est vivement a recommander car l'ambiance est reposante (la piscine apres une journée de ballade c'ets extra..),les chambres saptieuses et le patron trés sympathique. En plus ,en reservant le matin on peut diner sur place et là ,c'est le régal simple et copieu,aux bonnes saveurs de la toscane,tout fait maison.... n'hesitez pas c'est une superbe adresse.

Hotel Casolare di Remignoli

Loin de San Giminiano dans la campagne sur un chemin qui vaut le détour et la vue sur San Giminiano, piscine très agréable, style chambre d'hôtes et repas style table d'hôtes superbes. Un endroit superbe et si on se promène la nuit on a l'étonnante chance de voir des milliers de lucioles voler autour de soi, c'est magique (on se croirait dans Avatar !) d'ailleurs la note du restaurant est au nom de La Luciola...
