Charming property conveniently located right in the city. Delicious breakfast, would definitely recommend adding that on. Accommodations were lovely and well kept. Overall, great experience and would definitely recommend.

God beliggenhed men en del larm

Perfekt beliggenhed centralt. Rent værelse og badeværelse. Ekstra seng i 3 personers værelse var ussel. Madrassen var tynd som et vattæppe. Hunde er tilladt og nabo værelset havde en gøende hund. Morgenmads området var meget tæt på alle værelse og de gik igang med at klirre med service kl 8, meget larm. Det var umuligt at sove længe.

Excelente opção

Construção medieval porém toda reformada, muito boa. Atendimento muito bom. O quarto não é muito grande mas tinha o espaço suficiente. O banho era excelente. O café da manhã poderia ter mais opções de frios e frutas. O prédio fica dentro das muralhas e perto de um dois portões, o que facilita o acesso a partir do estacionamento externo (que é pago: 12 Euros/dia o mais próximo e 6 Euros/dia o mais distante). Há 3 lances de escada para chegar ao andar dos quartos. Agradeço muito o atendimento.

We love Tuscany but of the 5 places we stayed this was definitely the worst and the room was just OK - The arrival procedure was bizarre ( go to tobacco shop for a key) and the lady who checked us in seemed annoyed rather than welcoming!! However ‘location,location ‘ means people will always be willing to stay as the area is gorgeous!

Un hotel con encanto

Un hotel pequeñito, acogedor, con unas vistas estupendas, una decoración muy bonita y una buena ubicación. Lo único un poco peor, como suele ocurrir casi siempre, por otra parte, fue la cama supletoria. Y la verdad es que nos trataron muy bien.

Toskana pur

Das kleine, romantische Hotel liegt sehr zentral im historischen Stadtkern der wunderschönen Stadt San Gimignano. Da es sich parallel zur Haupteinkaufsstraße befindet, ist es sehr ruhig und man bekommt von dem Trubel, der zeitweise in der Stadt herrscht überhaupt nichts mit. Dennoch ist man nach nur wenigen Metern mittendrin im Geschehen. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, ob Restaurants, die mittelalterlichen Türme oder Eisdielen. Das typisch italienische Frühstück von Hausherrin Canna war hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und sauber, außerdem mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

The room was clean as well as the breakfast area. The host was very accommodating, even driving us to our vehicle after we checked out (parking is outside the city wall). The pillows were not the best. We had a non-smoking room but in certain areas you could smell smoke. All in all, the location was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice local spot in San Gimignano

I was passing through San Gimignano as part of my walk on the Via Francigena. The hostess was very nice to let me check in early. The hotel is upstairs in an older building, one block over from a busy tourist street. The hotel had real local flavor and was very clean and quiet.

Highly recommended, convenient to parking P1. Vanna was an exceptional hostess. Everything was ready, celan and no issues at all. She went extra by helping us get a great reservation (window table with spectacular view) at a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was timely and yummy!

Ótima opção em

Excelente localização, embora chegar ao local de carro seja um pouco complicado, como em todas as cidades medieviais. Ruas estreitas com mãos únicas, sinalização confusa, etc. Ademais, fica ao lado de dois dos melhores restaurantes da cidade. Quanto ao serviço, a proprietária se mostrava com boa vontade, mas é importante salientar que nâo havia alguém disponível no local durante o dia (embora ela tenha um negócio perto da pousada). O café da manhâ foi um dos mais espartanos que experimentamos na Itália, embora tenham sido disponibilizados presuntos e ovos cozidos ou omeletes. A televisâo é bastante pequena, e sem acesso a internet. Entretanto, o lugar bastante recomendável dentre as opções em San Gimignano.

bagno e camera puliti, avevamo due letti singoli che erano abbastanza comodi ma non lo stesso per i cuscini che erano molto duri, la signora molto accogliente e gentile, il posto molto centrale. Consigli davvero il ristorante la Mandragola dove abbiamo avuto una ottima cena.

Lots of dark stairs 41 to be exact

41 very dark and narrow stairs to haul our luggage up and down to get to our room . I get that it’s historic but wish I had know about the stairs . Hotel charges 7 euro per person for breakfast , cup of coffee and lots of bread products . Save $ and get a coffee and roll in a shop down the street.

Hot in San Gimignano

Overall, fantastic! Air conditioning could have been better, however, 39 degree heat wave likely the issue. Very warm welcome and good information. Second time staying at this accommodation! Highly recommend.
