We complained several nights that the band music was keeping us awake into the night, one night till almost 2:30pm. It was horrible, and they did nothing to accommodate us. For what we paid for that suite and amenities, this was not in any way appropriate. Again, the front desk said they would report to management that first night, that they could do nothing, we were basically trapped to just live with it We were never contacted. We should get some recompense.

Ask it to desk for the VIP upgrades but was told none was available. Hotel is a nice four star, Show some age and could use a total remodel interior. Staff is excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. Is breakfast is good, Is but the restaurants in general are pretty three star at best.

5-star hotel with a 3-star hotel service. Bellhop person very rude and not helpful. Lady preparing breakfast was great. Dinner: it took too long to get our food and it was horrible. Had to request face towels as they did not provide any.

Beautiful old building, could use with some renovations but nothing major. Attention to detail was a little lacking. They usually forget about basic toiletries like hand soap or coffee for the machine, but if you call the front desk they solve it fairly quickly.

Excelente hospederia en San Jose; solamente hubo inconveniente con el estacionamiento donde lo utilizaron para personas que ofrecian dinero por estacionarse en los estacionamientos que serian utilizados por los huespedes y estuvimos sobre horas esperando que saliera alguien para estacionarnos por que Gaviota tenia una actividad en el Hotel y a los huespedes no nos brindaron una alternativa viable para estacionar sino estuvimos en el vehiculo por horas esperando molestos ante esta situacion; y que ninguna persona queria dar la carta ni un ejecutivo del Hotel, ordenaban a los guardias a darnos informacion pero nadie una solucion positiva.
