“The tranquil atmosphere of the resort was wonderful. Quiet. Relaxing. Loved the deck we had with the table and chairs to sit back and read, relax or watch the view. The pool was a good size for actual swimming and deep. The room was so-so. No frills there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good, just enough to hit the spot. It would have been nice to have snacks and drinks available to purchase in case we needed something. No TV but we don't watch it anyway. ”

“This was one of the best "glamping" experiences we have ever had! We were in a tent but it was a huge very well ventilated rigid tent on a solid platform with an attached beautiful bathroom with huge walk in shower. We sat on our two rocking chairs on the huge open deck area and watched the birds every morning and the sunsets every night. “The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

“Room was clean and spacious. Food at the restaurant was great quality. The staff were pleasant and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. They advertise 15 pools but there was only one. It’s beautiful and has a poolside bar. The hotel is also riverside. ”

“Nous avon louer la cabane à notre arriver le proprio était là nous a accueilli nous a aidé à apporter nos valise à la cabane retirer et privé j'avais peur d avoir chaud la nuit car il n'y a pas d'aire climatisé mais c'était ok avec les fan le site est proche des chutes noyaca un incontournable dans ce secteur là chambre était propre la piscine était bonne et rafraîchissante nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner mais je suis sûr qu'il était bon en résumé endroit propre et bien entretenu...

“Five stars all the way. Villas Rio Mar has an amazing location — close to Dominical but outside the hustle, peaceful and relaxing. Just minutes from the beach, with a beautiful river nearby. The property is gorgeous, the pools are great, the rooms are beautiful, and everything was clean and well maintained. The restaurant was fantastic and the service was excellent.
