"I used to stay at this hotel frequently over the past 10 years. The rooms have never changed. They are in desperate need of a remodel. While they are kept clean, you can see that they are poorly maintained. Repairs are very noticeable and unprofessionally done. The carpets are stained and I have to wonder how clean they are. They need to step up their game because there is a beautiful new suite hotel across the street with extremely competitive rates. I’ve been staying there instead of the Embassy. There is also another brand new suite hotel opening nearby with even more competitive rates. The only reason I was at the Embassy this time is because the other hotel was booked. They charge $20 per night to park. Their parking lot is part of a shopping center so I doubt that the hotel owns or maintains it. The woman at the front desk said they are planning to raise the price by another $5 next year. I’ve heard multiple times from the staff about ‘the owner’ making this decision. I think ‘the owner’ needs to personally look at the property through the eyes of the customers and do something about improving the customer experience. I don’t plan to stay there in the future unless there are no rooms available elsewhere. "

"It was a nice stay. It is convenient and walkable to downtown. I would have liked the pillows a little softer. The pillows were too hard for us. Otherwise, we have no other complaints. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants downtown. "

"It’s a great nestled in hotel that’s conveniently located & reasonably priced. There are amenities, but you have to pay extra for. The hotel needs some upgrades. Staff was nice & friendly. Great food at the Market Place- fresh!"

"AC in room was good. Cooled the room but a little loud. Bathroom sizes in trellis court are small. Not sure about the other building. Overall a good experience and found it more affordable than other hotels. "

"Wasn’t the best, wasn’t the worst. The bed was not very comfortable. I put the do not disturb sign up and someone took it. I could tell someone came in my room and emptied trash but they didn’t leave clean towels. The staff was very friendly "
