Good
This hostel was great. The facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. But on the shelf which is above the bed, there was some dust. And the location of this hostel is a little bit uncomfortable to go other place like down town of Sorrento and Amalfi coasts.(The sita bus comes to st.angelo too, but because of the time, it is very hard to take the bus.) Outside of that, everything was good. Especially the croissant for the breakfast was very nice... Yummy!! If you walk opposite side of sorrento, you can also see the beautiful view.

Their version of air conditioning is just a fan placed on the floor meant to cool four people in one room and does nothing for the humidity. Washrooms are small and have no where to put your things when getting ready in the morning/at night. If you arrive later in the evening you are charged a late fee that must be payed in cash and there is not staff in the building 24/7.

We are astonished by your review as it is far from reality!First, our facility has a Mitsubishi system and not a fan put on the floor.Also, our facility offers h24 reception this implies the presence of our staff even at night.We have never charged additional fees for checking in overnight.In short, we think your review is untrue and ask you to remove it so as not to unfairly damage our facility!

I was under the impression I booked a single room, I even called to confirm with the property in advance. When I arrived they told me no I was in a 12 bed mixed dormitory… not the end of the world and may have been a mistake on my end. When I arrived in my room I found the AC did not work in 34 Celsius weather… the plug by my bed was so high I could not even charge my phone. When I addressed these issues the staff were no help. I ended up having to book a hotel in the area last second as these conditions were not comfortable to stay in.

We are sorry to read this review!We find it strange that we confirmed your reservation by phone for a single room when it was actually for one bed.The price was too low to be a single room in the high season in Sorrento, did it not occur to you that it might be a shared room?In reference to the air conditioning, which online is not listed as a service offered, we can tell you that it works perfectly well throughout the facility but if windows and doors are opened it locks itself to reduce energy waste

There was black mold in one of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are not cleaned. They sweep but that’s about it. The location is good. The staff was good. They have free breakfast. They have cheap dining options. It would’ve been a good stay if it wasn’t for the bathrooms.

Nice place, not just for the young!
We stayed in a private room, which was nice. The place was clean and in an impressive building. Being in our upper 40s, we were somewhat older than most of not all folks here, but didn't feel out of place! There is a nice rooftop bar serving a decent range of drinks after 7pm. They also do food up there, although don't expect it to look like the photos on the walls in the main courtyard room downstairs. It comes served in eco unfriendly plastic, and certainly isn't as gourmet! There is a dj there each Friday evening. The location is OK. It's around 25 minutes walk in the heat with a loaded bag or 20 without from Sorrento. Or 5 minutes from Sant Agnello train station, although the trains from Sorrento aren't the most reliable. There are a number of local restaurants close by. For us, the slight inconvenience of being further from the centre of Sorrento was not a problem and we'll worry the lower price of the room. Several aspects were not eco-friendly. For example, the soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty and soap provided in individual plastic packets, the tiny amount in each shampoo sachet making the amount of plastic packaging even worse (Covid can't be the reason for this failure to use the dispensers, given the way breakfast was served and lack of other measures across the hostel) while the aircon could have been replaced by less energy inefficient fans.

Corridor dark with only gentle lighting at low level. Main lights not used, making it impossible to see to put key in door.

Very friendly staff always willing to help, rooms are big, clean, lockers you can actually your backpack in. Breakfast and bar area is large comfortable. Would happily stay again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. LOWER PRICE NOT WORTH THE BRUTAL SERVICE I paid for 5 nights and left after only one night What wasn’t poor about this place. He’s a list of things that were supposed to be included but weren’t 1.Housekeeping The shelves in my room were so covered in dirt and dust that a quick swipe of my finger left a thick sticky grimy layer. I had to wipe it down with wet naps before putting anything on it 2. Bar No bar was open 3. Snack/Deli Bar Not open 4. Restaurant The restaurant was also closed but the owners and employees were kind enough to make a big meal for each other and sit down in front of the guests and eat while they told us the kitchen was closed TV’s None Since there was no food available I had to run to the grocery store and grab some stuff to make a salad before they closed. On the way back I called reception since they were closing soon and asked if they could leave a fork out for me. They said the owner left with the kitchen keys and that they had no way of getting one for me. So when I arrived back I told them I was super irritated that none of the advertised service were available and since I couldn’t get anything to eat my food Id just have to throw away all the perishable parts of what I had gotten. After throwing them out one of the staff told me she could have grabbed me one. The service here is deplorable and the room was disgusting

Clean room with balcony with the view, also terrace for common use, excellent italian breakfast. Quiet, safe neighbourhood, pretty close to train station.

Should have booked the other hotel. They let the group of teenagers throw the party in the bar at night from 8pm - 1 am without giving any notice about this kind of event to other guests. Please avoid to book this hostel if you about to stay longer than one night or if you also have a car I’d recommend you to book other place where has a parking lot.

Hello from Sorrento coast, I'm very sad about your expirience in our Hostel. We have organised a party and invited all our guest to partecipate, it was a special party and it was a sin that you didn't take part to it. The music was stoped before midnight and be sure that in all the hostels in the world there are party music all nights! The life in hostel IS diffrent from an hotel, we give to our guest the possiblity to enjoy the stay in the best way. I hope what you will come agian and you decide to take part of all the activites proposed. Our guest can park on the blues lines on the street for only 1 euro per hour and with special reduction in case of a longer stay (instead of the city center where you have to pay for 24hour the double tarif). Really nice hostel
This place is really nice, with the big common area, spacious rooms and bathrooms, I think it has been renovated very recently. Each bed has its own power source, light and you can use your own locker to keep your stuff protected. The bathrooms attached to the room are big- with the 3 showers and toilets, really no queue on the morning. You can also use the public bathroom. Breakfast is rather sweet but lovely: a lot of cakes, croissants, some fruits and yoghurt, tea and coffee, jam, chocolate cream. Great as for the hostel! The only drawback is the location, outside of Sorrento, but the walk is okay- and takes around 30mins to the city. You can also take a bus for €1,6 (ticket from the driver but have the exact money ready), so not a big deal. I recommend this place.

Needs to more activities and energetic staff.
Nice, clean, and reasonably close to the main centre. Wish staff are bit more attentive and more out there with bit of energy to help out and make your stay enjoyable especially the bar staff. Their attitude towards work are just I will help you because I have to. Hospitality requires more then that. You need to love what you do because customers can see it when you play on your phone or yawning or customer is waiting to grab your attention. There is no Realy any vibe in the hostel. Wish there is bit more activities that hostel can orgnasie even simple walking tour together where people can meet with one another. Hostel requires more then just a clean bed and great facilities. It requires staff energy and wanting to be there as well as activities for the hostel to organise. It doesn't have to be loud and noise but something simple. Thank you for the stay

Not bad, but not great either.
We booked a double room, but ended up in a 6 bed dorm for ourselves. This meant we had loads of space, but the dorms are perhaps in generally poorer condition than the double rooms overall. Unfortunately, we shared the bathroom with an army of ants which was somewhat unpleasant. The rooftop area is a great space, but not really utilised very well. They prohibit food and drink up there too. Why not put a bar, some seating and a shaded area up there, play some music and make a feature out of it? The location leaves this hostel a little isolated, and although food is advertised all day, when we asked for lunch, we were advised there was no chef on duty. As there isn’t much close by, this meant a 10-15 minute walk to the beach for some food. The staff were lovely, and as accommodating as possible so credit to them. Overall though, I would recommend finding somewhere in Sorrento itself.

But it was not a dorm! the room upstair are private room new and equipped with all comfort If you see the double room I'm sure that you are happy about my choose to give to you these room on the rooftop. - Sauberes Zimmer; jedoch stank es beim Eintreten in die Lobby nach Hundekot, was wohl an dem Hundekot vor der Türe lag, der nach 6h jedoch immer noch nicht beseitigt wurde - typisch italienisches Frühstück (Brötchen, Marmelade, Kaffee usw. - nichts Deftiges) - teilweise sehr freundliches Personal, teilweise aber auch nicht gerade serviceorientiert - Kleines Zimmer; aber OK für eine Nacht Kurzaufenthalt

El hostel es muy lindo info! Limpio y agradable. El personal muy amable. La comida es rica! Nos dieron una lasagna que estaba riquisima. El desayuno masomenos, no ha fruta . Pero no está tan mal.

Gut für 1 günstige Übernachtung ohne Auto
Kein Parkplatz beim Hotel. Sehr mühsam, man kann nicht einmal richtig anhalten um das Gepäck auszuladen. Personal wirkte überfordert mit dem Check-In-Prozess. Zimmer i.O. Dusche sehr defekt, Wasser kam aus allen Seiten aus dem Duschkopf raus.

Great value hostel - okay breakfast, good local area but not that close to the centre of Sorrento. Easy to get there by train but these only run until 9:30pm.

We stayed in a double room with ensuite. The room was comfortable and pleasant. We thought the included breakfast was respectable - cereal, croissants, toast-biscuits and cake as well as juice, tea and so on. It's not a first class breakfast, but it was a fair range for a hostel and there was plenty to go around - except for perhaps the cake, everything was replenished as needed for late-risers. We ate at the hostel one evening as well, where there was again a fair range of choices, although the portions were a little smaller than we would have liked. Mostly around €8 a meal though, so not bad considering. About 10 minutes walk from the hostel you can reach a main street with a number of restaurants and local eateries for a broader range of choices. As mentioned a million times in other reviews, the hostel is a good half-hour's walk from Sorrento. But for most hostellers, a bit of a stroll to the centre is unlikely to be a problem unless the stumble back home in the early hours of the morning is more likely to be of concern. And even then, it feels like a safe area to walk around in at night.

Great hostel
The hostel was very nice, the bedroom was big and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean but the showers doors were a bit translucent. It has a beautiful terrace with a great view and the staff is really kind. I would totally stay here again.

Good stay for the price
Nice and friendly people. Good service. Good location as is close to Sorrento by foot, to the train station and by bus.

Quiet hostel with nice staff
The hostel itself is nice we stayed in a private room which was nice. Staff were all helpful and welcoming. The hostel is in the middle of nowhere but there is a station a 5-10 min walk and it takes about 35 mins to walk into Sorrento. The breakfast is basic but okay. They offer food in the bar which was okay not the greatest. The hostel wasn't very lively and was empty most of the time.

Ótimo hostel
Hostel moderno e com ótimo atendimento. Apesar de não ficar no centro de Sorrento, é muito perto da estação do trem (uma estação).
