Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. "Wonderful old grand hotel in an excellent location. Received a warm welcome and professional service from all the staff members. The pool area is a haven from the modern world with ample sun loungers and umbrella shade. Our room (65) backed directly onto the road at pavement level, however the layout of the room meant that there was very little noise in the main bedroom and sleep was completely unaffected. Furnishings were generally in very good order with just a few signs of wear and tear. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend"
