I understand that the area usually remains cool, however a fan would be appreciated on the rooms, as well as a mini fridge if possible. The pupusas and breakfast were ok for local standards, and would be certainly enjoyed by foreigners. If you are driving, you will have to pay a small entrance fee to Cerro Verde, and as this allows you to walk around the park, you will not regret it! Hotel and restaurant staff were great...

Unforgettable experience
"Check in process was easy. Area is so quiet, it’s a nice break from the hussle of the city so this is definitely more of a quiet retreat. I wish I would’ve stayed more than one night. I was a bit bummed that it was so foggy when we checked in, but thankfully to our surprise it cleared up in the morning and we got the beautiful volcano view! It’s breathtaking and feels surreal. Restaurant staff was not very attentive during the lunch/dinner time, but breakfast was a better experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of breakfasts included in the price. I will definitely be coming back!"
