"Great location. Everywhere we needed to go was walkable. Lots of shops, restaurants and everything you need are close to hand. Anywhere else is just a short and very pretty drive away. Room was clean and quirky. Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast is top notch. "
"I love this hotel. It feels like home with a wonderful combination of shared indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, coupled with cozy, private rooms and patios. "

"My mom and I has a very pleasant stay at this hotel for three days and two nights. The location is close to the beach and main attractions. We especially enjoyed the free wine tasting and the cheese offered in the lobby daily from 4:30 -6:30 pm. Mom thought some of the wines here were better than wines at other tasting rooms in town! The hot jacuzzi was a treat after days of walking to the pier and to downtown Santa Barbara. The manager was super helpful with ideas of local places to visit and he even accommodated our early check in request! Would definitely stay here again. "
"Absolutely lovely, newly renovated, and in a great location. Our room was small and had little space to put suitcases or personal items, but it was beautifully decorated and very quiet. Note the hotel's policy is that guests have to request housekeeping each day they would like it. Valet parking seemed expensive at $30/day but we did some research and discovered that is the same rate that the city charges for overnight parking in public lots, so it was fine. (Street parking is not really a reliable option in that part of the city.) We loved the location right on State Street."
