“First of all, it is fairly close to the airport but it took us 21 euros of taxi fare to get there. The rooms kind of smell like armpit but it was fairly clean. Too far from Venice if you don't have a car. Nearly impossible. The rooms were hot and the owner controls when the air conditioning so it was extremely hot. The breakfast was nice. The ride to the airport was too expensive. 10 euros for each person. The worst part is that owners were pretty loud during the night with their own guests....
“I couldn't rate this hotel more highly. Travelling with three chidren can be difficult but the family room at Hotel Rovere was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts were so warm, friendly and extremely helpful in answering our queries and arranging airport transfers. “Really enjoyed the hotel. Pretty location by the lake, where you can enjoy a drink and friendly staff. Good value for money. The spa is amazing - got several massages, and we loved it.
The restaurant is understaffed. They were doing their best, but it was somewhat chaotic, some of our drinks never arrived and were still charged etc.”
