A Fantastic Resort We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Having access to the spaces and amenities in the three neighbouring hotels, provided a lot of great space to explore. One thing to consider would be the time of year that you are traveling. For us, being in Colombia in low season provided us with fewer crowds and pleasant temperatures. The downfall however, is that many of the amenities onsite at the resort were either under construction or closed (restaurants, lounges, steam room, workout facilities). We can't say enough about the staff. They were so helpful and friendly and truly made our stay special. The life guard/ pool technician was especially amazing. We were so impressed with all of the roles he filled and always did everything with a smile. The staff at the main desk were also exceptional. Our only concern was communication (mostly because we don't speak Spanish). In the event of important hotel or community information or alerts, it would be great if email could be used to communicate with those who do not speak Spanish. In our case, there was a significant issue in Santa Marta (resulting in a lockdown of the city) that we were not aware of for several days. The apartment itself was really incredible. It was very clean, spacious and a pleasure to spend time in. You also can't beat the breakfast buffet- one of the best we have ever had.

The apartment is very good and has a great balcony with sea view. The hotel food is good and have different restaurants options. Access to the beach is easy. Friendly staff and good service, especially the security personnel at the beach. Will go back on my next travel.

Nice sea view room, location, facilities, and breakfast. Lunch and dinner not so good. Repetitive menu and not very fresh food. Good pizza and fresh juices. The worst part was 2 very loud corporate events on 2 of our 4 nights there till early morning. Great disrespect for the guests’ rest. (It was low season so hotel not full)

It felt really safe to be in the hotel. Security guards were very aware and asked questions to make sure that guests were going into the right taxi and only guests were going into the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be coming here for my next time in Santa Marta.

The property was quite extensive and had a variety of activities as well as dinning options. Nice swimming pools with beautiful sunset views. I think the breakfast could use some improvement. With a better variety of proteins and vegetables.

It’s always my favourite place, the beach and swimming pools are great, the room has washing machine and kitchen which makes it very convenient, this time we were offered a wrong and bad location, we were not offered the special treatment mentioned by Expedia! After we complained, we were moved to an amazing suite wi a huge balcony

The breakfast is totally worth it. It has lots of options and the food is fresh and delicious. The rooms are spacious very comfortable and super clean. All staff are super friendly. There is security everywhere on the property ensuring all guests are safe. I recommend this property hands down. I am looking forward to returning with my granddaughter and my family. I traveled with my husband only and we wished we could have stayed longer. The food is excellent quality we ate at all the restaurants within the property. All restaurants had an excellent menu and super affordable. You can use all the amenities from the different towers. The beach is beautiful and super clean. There are tons of lounge chairs and canopies. The entertainment team works hard to make guest feel comfortable. My next trip I will not do any tours I am just planning on staying at the resort to enjoy longer. Also the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the airport. This was excellent. The resort is within walking distance to a small shopping center and a super market. Looooved irotama resort.
