Das San Millan Hotel lief wohl nicht so recht und daher baute man es etwas um: neuer Eingang, auf zwei Etwagen ein Fitness-Studio, welches auch akustisch wahrnehmbar (6-24Uhr). Spa ist ein kleines Wasser - Wärmbecken. Zimmer zwar gross, doch einfachste Ausstattung. Frühstück war für span. Verhältnisse überraschedänd positiv.

Good place to stay near the ferry port

Really good location, close to the ferry and the town centre, but quiet too. Nice view to the mountains, good parking. It is busy with people using the gym, but we managed to park for 3 nights. Good breakfast too, plenty of choice. The staff are very friendly, even gave us a heater to use in the room because it felt cold.

Spa hotel, where the noise from exercise and dancing class reverberated right into our room until 11pm. Then fireworks stated outside, one after another for over an hour, needed to get to bed early as had early start, impossible to sleep Room was not warm, very utilitarian for 3 star

Good stopover

Used the hotel as an overnight stop after the ferry. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Decent quality food in the evening and morning, with an OK choice. Facilities and cleanliness is very good. Didn't explore the area, just sat on the terrace with a few beers, reasonably priced, and took in the view.

Hotel un poco ¨mayor¨pero limpio, habitación amplia y confortable aunque un poco molesto debido al gimnasio. El servicio de recepción fue del todo eficiente, Isabel, Eukene y la Srta. morena que nos atendió al final merecen éste reconocimiento. Desayuno corto en variedad pero aceptable en calidad.

Quite good

I stay in San Millan for two nights. It's clean, but there is nothing like a safe, basic for a three-star hotel. Only people at the front desk speak English, none other than the hotel staff. The breakfast was good and plentiful. To get to downtown Santander you need a car.

Good Value

Nice walking track behind the hotel towards the church and up the mountains. We were allowed to use all the facilities, pool, spa, gym, classes free of charge which I thought is very good as I am into fitness. Shops are a far way down the road but not too far away from a huge supermarket.

Me sorprendió!

Fui a pasar una noche por estar cerca del aeropuerto. Al llegar la recepcionista me informó de que disponían de spa por si quería descansar y relajarme en la piscina y en la sauna. Fue una grata sorpresa tanto para mí como para mi pareja poder disfrutarlo y descansar después de un día ajetreado. La atención ha sido muy cordial y correcta. Lo único que no nos gustó es que la gente que vino desde el gimnasio no guardaba la forma de estar en el spa, ya que no usaban ni gorro, ni chanclas y hasta uno se desvistió junto a la piscina y en gayumbos se metió al agua. Creo que deberían poner a alguien a controlar esas cuestiones para un buen uso de las instalaciones. Por lo demás muy agradecido por todo. Volveremos.

Cenas económicas, perfecto para ir a la habitación después de un día de trabajo. El spa está bastante bien aunque no dejan un albornoz para ir de la habitación al spa, sería mucho más cómodo

Pasamos una noche en el hotel. Lo usamos sólo para dormir y no pasamos demasiado tiempo allí. Es una opción más barata que quedarse en el centro o en la playa, aunque nosotros cogimos un taxi para ir y volver del centro por la noche y el ahorro se queda en menos...

Good value accommodation

Upon arrival we were allocated the only accommodation available at the time, a standard double room instead of a double room with a kitchenette as had been booked. Was offered one for the next day but we declined as the kitchenette did not have a microwave oven. Can be confusing to locate. Address - building no. not listed on my TomTom satnav.
