Unsecured WiFi, WiFi unavailable most of the time, no tour pickup/drop off by 95% of the local tour companies, no drinkable water except vending machines, overall looks pretty but feels scuffed. It’s perfect if you wanna stay in the hotel all day with a book by the pool and nothing else.

Had an amazing stay at Barcelo Santiago - the rooms were really clean and spacious, the sea views were incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The buffet and pool bar food options were great - as a vegan they had lots of vegan and veggie options alongside the regular meals, and the all inclusive option was good value for money. The surrounding area is quite quiet around the hotel so good for those not wanting the Tenerife ‘party’ holiday. Would definitely recommend and go back!

Really lovely stay. Would recommend greatly if you're looking for a relaxing / do nothing and switch off kind of holiday. Hotel is spotless, and spoilt for choice at buffet. Staff all very friendly. Views are wonderful. Not much to do outside of hotel is the only negative.

Ideally situated for many excursions into nature on land or sea (Masca, Teide, Barranco del Infierno, Whale Watching ...), or to Garrachico, Adeje, Puerto de la Cruz. Great swimming pools, also a "piscina natural", i.e. a seawater pool enclosed by rocks, is close by. No sandy beach though. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food.

What a wonderful hotel and the all inclusive was excellent. We enjoyed having lunch at Breeze overlooking the ocean - you could even have steak! Breakfast and dinner buffets were brilliant as well. The all inclusive included all drinks and the cocktails were freshly made. The wine was from a bottle and not on tap and very good quality. I recommend the pina coladas and Aperol Spritz! The pool area was well maintained - we could always find a sunbed. We hired a car which was quicker and cheaper than a transfer from the airport and have us the opportunity to drive up Mt Teide and to the Masca Gorge - both of which were stunning views and the landscape is beautiful. All in all a wonderful relaxing week away! Thank you Barcelo Santiago!

In a lovely quiet location with great views. Staff were helpful. Not much to do around the hotel. Massive choice of food and good you can swap dinner for lunch if you’re half board. Entertainment was ok.
