The property is a good size, however you need to be aware that to access bedroom 2, you have to go through bedroom 1. Plus bedroom 3, whilst tucked away, has no door so hears everything. There are only 2 sun beds (which came after we asked for them), but not enough for everyone. They were helpful at trying to resolve issues, however the property wasn’t as advertised. There is no hot tub. You have the property downstairs and someone else is upstairs.

As this is a new listing, we took a chance that it would be exactly as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was; great for 7-8 guests and looks exactly as pictured. Be advised, the listing calls this the Aurora Villa, however when we arrived, we quickly realized it is known by ‘Rose Pepper Villa’. The small pool outside was refreshing, and overall the property was well maintained. Communication with the property owner was helpful and prompt. He arranged our airport transfers to and from, even working around a huge ferry delay we encountered. Forewarning about the location - the villa is situated near the bottom of an extremely narrow cobblestone “road” in Finikia. That said, taxis are a bit of a challenge to arrange and expensive for short distances. If you are booking any tours that involve large vans picking you up, they will have to meet you at the Secret View Hotel instead. There is barely enough room for a regular vehicle! Another downfall would be the distance to the closest restaurants. It is quite the uphill climb for an average hiker! Definitely more than a 5 min walk. Otherwise it is about a 30 min walk to Oia. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but having the additional location info would have been useful!
