Had a great stay here. The staff were friendly and always went out of their way to help. The pool was lush and the sunset view was amazing! A 20 minute walk away from Oia, this is perfect is you just want to chill out away from the hustle and bustle and tourists.

The location was great for Oia. The facilities were nice. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was tasty. It had a lot of options. I would stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay here. It’s a new hotel and the rooms were spotless and huge. The grounds are so well kept up. The breakfast included in our package was great. The location was perfect. It’s out of the touristy area of Oia but still walking distance (15-20 min depending on how you do hills). In the quaint town of Finika you can find great restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Pavlos (hope the spelling in correct) was excellent and always available if needed to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend this hotel

The property was clean and very comfortable. After a long day of touring, we returned to the property to sit on the patio and look at the ocean. The staff was tremendously accommodating. On our last night, a guest in another room stole one of our patio chairs, preventing all of my guests from sitting outside. The staff was so apologetic; two staff members carried a bench from the pool area to our patio so that we could enjoy our last night looking at the ocean.

We had an awesome experience at this hotel. It is in quite a unique spot, on the pathway of the numerous alleys in Finikia, close to Oia. The pathways are pedestrian only, and featured a very cool neighbourhood that seemed like it was built into the rocks. It was easy to walk up to Oia, passing a few great restaurants along the way, and ending up in the fantastic Oia. The hotel staff are super friendly, the room was very unique and comfortable. Breakfast was great, also. Overall, a very unique and great experience. Highly recommend!

I loved this hotel the staff was so kind but its the distance. Most taxis cant drive in front of the hotel because the streets are small so you have to walk for 7 minutes on cobble stones and hills. The hotel was near Oía (20 minute walk) which has restaurants and shops and more hotels but besides that we had to take the taxi everywhere. The hotel is more like a remote couples hotel. If you love hiking and want to be away from the tourist areas this is the place for you.

Hotel was beautiful and staff were amazing. It’s a 20 minute walk to Oia but a perfect getaway from the hectic and crowded town. It was so nice to come back and relax by the pool. Pavlos was amazing. He arranged all of our transport and was available at all time to answer our questions or help with anything in the room. He would always go above and beyond! All the staff were incredibly friendly and nice. The rooms were big and always clean. The infinity pool was amazing and great to relax. So glad we stayed here!

I loved everything about Dánae Suites. Every member of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Although it’s a bit of a walk to Santorini, I enjoyed the quieter location, and I felt safe walking back and forth alone at any time of day or night. The breakfast was wonderful, and they have giant bowls of fruit out all day in case you want a quick snack. They also do a great job of refilling water and coffee during your stay—and they even bring water over while you’re at the pool. My room was enormous and beautifully decorated. I actually liked it so much that I stayed for five nights instead of my original three. Highly recommend this place!

The hotel is very nice, quiet, clean with good views but a bit excluded from transportation and not comfortable to walk to bus stops or the beach. The access up to the hotel from the road is a bit tight, the cobble stone road is narrow and many transport services do not want to take you all the way to the entrance so it makes carrying luggage up the hill for more than 700 Mts a very complicated task. The reception team is attentive and try to offer solutions to any questions, yet you need to be stern with your requests. There is a very amiable and very efficient staff person named Arkiontis who has great disposition while serving at the bar or breakfast but not all the staff are as amenable. I would recommend that if you take a shuttle from the port, you insist on being taken up all the way to the hotel entrance. Review and compare prices for transportation services and for tours in Santorini before booking with the hotel's recommendations. Also, there are no other convenient food options nearby so the hotel menu is pricey for the quality it serves.

Location is king in Santorini and Danae Suites doesn't have it. Santorini prices without the Santorini experience. It's a long walk back up the hill to the main road for the Caldera view and 2km from Oia sunset view. Even with a car there's a very narrow path for the last 500m to the property. Taxis won't go there because it's too narrow and dump you in a car park a 10 min walk away; you end up dragging suitcases down narrow cobbled lanes. There is one transport company they can arrange but that's 60 euro. Breakfast is pretty good. Staff are very nice. Didn't do dinner. We walked back up the narrow paths (dark at night) to places like Meze Meze, Mes Amis and Lefkes for dinner. Bar prices by pool are very expensive. The hotel itself is very nice and has a good view of the sea down the hill to the north. Even when they complete a decent north-side road to the property you can't get away from the walk back up the hill to the main road and caldera. For the prices it's all just too inconvenient. Unless of course you want to get away from it all. But in that case why go to Santorini?

The staff here were so helpful and kind! They provided help with booking transportation and gave us recommendations on things to do in the area. The room was stunning and clean with a great view. The pool was beautiful, and I loved the quiet, relaxing vibe of this place. They provided free breakfast, which was fantastic, and they had a bar & other menu items near the pool to order at your convenience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Santorini, especially couples!

Our first time in Santorini was magical, and staying at Danae Suites made it even more special. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, the suite was elegant and spotless with stunning views, and the ambience was peaceful and romantic. The location is perfect for enjoying both privacy and the beauty of the island. We felt truly cared for, and the kindness of everyone made our stay unforgettable. Wir hatten die Honeymoon Suite, sie war sehr schön sauber und wirklich toll. Es war ruhig und der Weg in die Stadt 15-30 min auf völlig in Ordnung. Der Service war top. Einzige Sache, wir haben beim Frühstück Alternativen vermisst ohne Ei.
