"Room was hit and miss for cleaning. Did not empty full wastebaskets. Breakfast was good and workers there were pleasant. Your manager should be replaced. She was asked to pick up my friend at airport after turning in car at a specific time. She was not busy and never showed up. My friend had to walk from airport back to hotel. she lied and said she went past the spot several times but my friend wasn’t there. Same problem with her on day we checked out. We requested shuttle time. Never showed. She said it was “broke down” When driver arrived we quickly hopped on. He had 4 new stocked new pizzas on front seat. When he drove us to airport, he apologized saying, “I had nothing to do with the pizzas.” They were for her. Shows she does not care for hotel guests…just herself. 2 lies in 2 days. You have a nice hotel. A great location. You have several good workers but the woman manager needs to be replaced."

"GHR absolutely does the best possible for an airport, along a somewhat busy road, motel. The setup tries, and generally succeeds, in isolating the property from the road -- fully wooden-fenced in, sound walls, creates a tropical atmosphere, tiki bar and decor, relaxing pool and lounge chairs. The tiki bar had music on Fri-Sat and a nice atmosphere. The pool was quiet and well-maintained with plenty of chairs/lounge chairs. Everyone was more than friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and clean. All pretty much exactly as the pictures show. Bottom line -- not a resort, but a very well-run motel with a few nice "extras" to upgrade your stay. Would definitely stay there again. "

"We were impressed that we weren’t required to request daily BASIC room service. Clean towels, trash emptied and bed made (no one needs daily sheets changed). All the simple things that were routine PRE COVID….."

"Convenient to Siesta Key just over the bridge. Staff and grounds very nice. Tiki hut is a nice place to hang but limited hours and plan on no food on site. "

"Overall, this hotel met our basic needs, however I found amenities to be misrepresented. There is a daily resort fee for services such as the pool, fitness center, shuttle, and beach gear however the shuttle was rarely available to bring us where we needed so we were unable to use this. The beach gear was first come, first served and was poor quality. We had daily issues with our room keys not working and plumbing issues in our room. The hotel was overall clean and served its purpose, but the amenities were the man draw for us to stay here so I was slightly disappointed. "
