The hotel manager stood up late to make sure we were greeted upon arrival and set up quickly with our room. The next day he checked in on us for breakfast and took the time to tell us a bit about the area and places to check out.

Lovely greeting. Husband and wife run hotel. Beautifully clean. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in so far. Beautiful location. Amply parking. Breakfast has good options but nothing hot apart from toast. Still very tasty. We drove down to the local town. Plenty of restaurants etc. Pool and terrace over looking beautiful views. We recommend.

A beautiful, spotless, and comfortable place. The staff is very friendly, curteous, and helpful. Excellent amenities including a terrace with beuatiful views and a swimming pool. Attention was given to every single detail of the room (a bath tub with a shower curtain on top of a partition to prevent the bathroom from getting wet, several towel racks, a nice stool in the bathroom, etc.) The room was spacious, and the bathroom was more spacious than all other hotels we've stayed at in Italy. The owner also shared the history of the hotel and the area with us and called the restaurant in the area to make sure they have space for us for dinner. I couldn't have asked for a more comfrotable stay and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The owner is very nice, the place is clean and quiet. Small but nice pool, great for hot days. No aircon and need of a car to eat (restaurant is closed) are the only two minor items.

Huikeat maisemat, henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä, hyvin siisti yleisilme. Sijainnin varjopuoli: auto tarvitaan. Sitä ylämäkeä ei jaksanut kertaa enempää yrittää kävellä, mutta onneksi hotellin isäntä (Renato, you are a lifesaver!) tuli apuun.

Posto isolato con fantastica vista sui laghi e valle sottostante. Servizio dedicato e puntuale. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Animali selvatici in abbondanza. Pulito e ottimo comfort. Uniche pecche il ristorante non attivo e la strada se pur breve in poco sconnessa.

Fijn hotel, mooi gelegen

Het kost wat moeite om er te komen, via een klein slecht weggetje naar boven, maar daar krijg je een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei voor terug. Een fijn hotel (helaas geen restaurant) maar een vriendelijke eigenaar die veel goede tips heeft voor restaurants en activiteiten in de buurt.

Nice hotel with excellent management.

Nice hotel in peaceful surroundings.The owner of the hotel was of great help- he suggested nearby attractions to visit;he made good suggestions of where to stay in Rome and phoned to check that parking was available at the hotel I selected. The rates were very reasonable for the standard of accommodation provided and it included a nice breakfast.

Soggiorno troppo breve

Ho soggiornato in questo albergo per una sola notte e molto di corsa ma nonostante questo ho potuto apprezzare la bellezza del luogo, il gusto dei locali, la comodità e pulizia delle camere e l'assoluta cordialità, gentilezza e simpatia dei proprietari. Non vedo l'ora di poterci tornare per più giorni.

Tuscany

This hotel was hard to find but worth the effort. It is up a few long hill drives that don't resemble normal roads in the dark! Renato the host was very attentive to our every need and helpful with sightseeing tips in the region. This would be a wonderful summer retreat for a family or group. Breakfast and coffee were very good for Italy. Some other towns are close by to visit easily. Internet needs help.

Abbiamo trascorso giorni indimenticabili in questo angolo di Toscana da favola. Ottimo albergo con molta attenzione alla clientela e camere molto pulite. Siamo molto soddisfatti. Ci ritorneremo.

Wonderful accomodations!

Our hosts, Rinaldo and his wife Barbara are delightful. Rinaldo was very attentive to our every need and provided valuable information on resources in Sarteona and other villages and cities in Tuscany. It was like staying with good friends or family members. The hotel is located on top of a hill in a wooded area of the city. The views were spectacular and it was a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The food and the wine selections in the restaurant were very good. Also, it was very nice to be able to park our car in the hotel parking lot and walk a short distance with our luggage. Our friends who stayed in town had to park in the town parking lot and carry their luggage up steep hills. I would highly recommend the La Torre ai Mari!!
