"Clean hotel very close to city centre. Bathrooms had some mould though and there was no hot water kettle or tea coffee facilities in the room. Staff provided dirty hot water in dirty cups! I took these facilities as standard generally available at almost all hotels and therefore count this as my error. Separately, I had sent a 2 month advance request for particular room types and adjoining rooms with children, but unfortunately no joy nor support at check-in."

"Room was not ready at check and it seemed to be an issue with other guests. I'd advise arriving an hour later than check in time. Once in, the room was clean and functional. Good shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful."

"The location is excellent, and the breakfast is first class. It's also very convenient for transport, with the Eurostar terminal just a 3-minute walk away. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We booked a half-board package expecting a buffet-style dinner. Instead, we were given a €50 per person (€100 for the two of us) allowance to spend on food and drinks from the à la carte menu. If your bill exceeds €100, you pay the difference, but if you spend less, the remaining balance isn't refunded. This felt a little awkward on the first evening, but we soon got used to it. The food was generally good. The only disappointment was one evening when my steak was overcooked and burnt instead of being well done. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return."

"Very clean room and comfortable. Great location, around the corner from a Metro station and short walks to the Grand Plaza, Museums and Central Train Station. Staff very helpful. Also very close to numerous restaurants, cafes, food bistros, etc. And lots of shopping nearby. Wonderful place to stay."
