"The front desk staff was for check in was really helpful. My only issue with that was she told me that my checkout time was 1pm Sunday since I’m a Hyatt member. That was incorrect. I personally didn’t care for the valet guy when I checked in. He came over right away to make sure I was a hotel guest while I was wrestling with my bags. No offer to help or get me a cart or anything. Then he told me he “guessed it’s ok for me to leave my car there while I check in.” What else is that area for? I think if the hotel didn’t have someone to help with bags then the valet should at least offer to get the carts for luggage. The room was clean and well stocked, the housekeepers were very nice."

"We stayed at this property last year because it was the best of all the 2 and 3 star motels in the Smithfield area. We stayed on March 31, 2026 on our way home from Florida and were met by a very enthusiastic and helpful desk manager who informed us that the property was upgraded with new furniture and bathrooms. The property was dramatically improved over our last visit. The shower was great! We had a small dog with us. Your lawn had poop bags with disposal stations. Breakfast was more than adequate and your people kept refilling the buffet. We'll see you next Feb or Mar. Leo Craig"

"There were 4 soap dishes in the bathroom but no soap. We asked for soap and they didn’t have any. "

"Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Only clean room upon request. You can hear people walking upstairs and water running from floor above. "

"Hotel is nice in a good location. Quiet. You do have to pay $30 per night for valet to use their parking deck. Shower pressure weak, only one of the two heads worked and it was low. "

"The room was more spacious than any other hotel like hampton inn. Definitely great for bringing the kids along too. Staff was amazing but the breakfast waa regualr and not an option for people who dont eat pork."
