Had to book somewhere last minute, the location is good but this is one of the grossest hotels I have ever stayed in. The carpets looked like they had never been cleaned, there were random hairs in the bed when we arrived. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful. They spoke English and were patient while we tried to figure out our plans for the day. The room was clean and well stocked. The beds are not comfortable though sooo if you’re looking for a soft place to land this ain’t it.

Room was very clean and housekeeping was very good. The hotel was also very conveniently located and it was easy to get to the metro as well as to experience the nightlife, while still being on a quiet street. Hotel had limited amenities, but that wasn't a big deal for us, as we went out for the entire day. Only big thing that bothered us was that our shower had no door, so the bathroom would get very messy. Overall, would definitely recommend giving 9 Brick Hotel a try!

The hotel is very well located close to the bars and restaurants in and around Hongdae Shopping Street. It is a short walk from Hongik University station (metro line 2 and airport all-stop train) and from Sangsu station (metro line 6). three different metro lines. The staff were welcoming, the room and ensuite bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and the sound proofing was good.
