Best hotel during our trip

I like the location of the hotel. Very convenient Bus ride from the airport to the closest drop off point to the hotel. And the availability of the public transit close to the hotel, is also a plus for me on this stay. Although, it was a bit loud and noisy at night, I still feel it was a good stay for us.

Pros: central location, close to everything. Self check in, if you arrive after hours.Full set of toiletries is included. Clean bed and towels. Big shower room and a free standing tub. Complementary water in the fridge. Cons: outside noise-hotel is above a karaoke bar or similar - a pair of good ear plugs is a must. The phone connects to the front desk only, the attendant did not speak English.The room was supplied with the insect repellant. We got a few stings, but unsure what it was( flees?)

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. A little noisy as it is directly above a comedy club, but nothing overly bad unless you need absolute silence to sleep. Staff was incredibly friendly the entire stay and helpful as needed. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping in Seoul as well as transportation. I would stay here again.

I liked the hotel/room’s eclectic design (contemporary, vintage and use of marble). The room looked much nicer in person. Is centrally located and accessible to public transit. Just remember, it is above a comedy club/karaoke. I didn’t mind the loudness and appreciated the lively/vibrant surrounding.

First I have to say, the staff was lovely and trying to help us as best as they could. We started off with dirty sheets, which they changed while we were out. The room itself was acceptably clean. The towels had holes, which didn't feel too clean. In general I think this hotel is a nice stay if you want to party at night and would like to be very central without stretching your budget. It is very close to myeondong night market and has several train stations nearby so you can basically drive anywhere in about 20 minutes. An absolute downside is the noise. It isn't just loud, it feels like you basically have to sleep directly in the bar/comedy club below. If you plan on sleeping you have to bring earplugs. Overall it is ok anyways and the staff absolutely makes up for it.

Great hotel and great area

It was a great cheap stay in Seoul. The bed was comfortable the shower was right with pressure I couldn’t fault it at all for the price and I’m picky! It was in a great area easy to get around train station super close and great food everywhere. I would definitely stay here again. Also the gentleman was super friendly! If your coming from the airport I would definitely take the 6002 bus drops you off super close about a 1 min walk and cost about $17 aus

Slept 6. Lots of niceties in the room. Stocked mini-fridge. Lots of included toiletries. Big deck. Awkward space, didn't use upstairs because hot in summer months. Very non-standard hotel room with step up to one bed and bathroom. Nice perks about it as well.

Location not so easy to find. Located on top of a comedy club. Lots of bars and clubs in the vicinity area Great for solo or friends trip. Not recommended for family. But room is actually quite big. Good heating in the room, and there's an attic in our room Toilet small and floor is cold. Overall value for money, but not recommended for families with young children.

Very noisy as located near bars and restaurants. The window was in the bathroom and even with double glazing you could still hear the outside music really loud. The place had a bath which was not necessary should have been closet space. Really hot in the room and smelled funny. It was cheap for the room but you can find better without the noise.

This is a very well located hotel right in the heart of Jonggag. Insadong is a 10 minute walk away, the subway is a 2 minute walk away, lots of restaurants and bars directly around the area. If you've got a family, you're elderly or you don't like noise, this may not be the property for you because there's a lot of loud music coming from the bar at the bottom floor of the property. You will hear that noise past 10:30pm on various nights and even with the windows closed it will still come through. It wasn't a deal breaker for me but others may find it annoying if they're trying to get sleep.

Good: the gentleman who at the front desk is very helpful and friendly. I wasn’t able to check in until 1am due to a delayed flight and when I struggled to unlock my room, he came out to help me. Located near subway stations and in a main area. Decent amenities. Bad: the hotel is on top of a bar and it can get really loud. AC wasn’t that cold and it was noisy. Big step to get to the bathroom/toilet/sink. The pictures for the room showed a bath but unfortunately there wasn’t one. No window in the room so the air seemed a bit stale and no natural sunlight to let you know what time it is.

Location was great and room had everything. There was also an older man i only passed twice but both times he was so sweet and very nice. Air con was so loud and tv only went up to a certain volume and was quiet so had to decide if i wanted air con or tv as couldn't do both with how loyd it was. Tv is also in an awkward place so had to lie down the bottom of the bed to watch it. Check in seemed rushed with no information what so ever. Was also there for 6 nights and had house keeping once but bedding wasnt touched. Room also had a sewer like smell after every time the shower was used.

We are in our 60s, traveling on a budget, and value modesty and honesty. This is our second hotel during our 26-day trip. We can say that it has all the necessary amenities, the price is very reasonable, and the location is excellent. The staff is attentive and quick to resolve any issues. When booking, I always read reviews, and I feel it’s important to mention that this hotel is located above a bar with karaoke that runs from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. If you love loud music and nightlife, this place will be ideal for you. However, if you’re like me and go to sleep early—around 9 p.m.—even with ear pods and two sleeping pills, the noise was overwhelming, and I felt like a walking mummy the next day. Fortunately, the staff kindly moved me to a room without windows, for which I was very grateful. The shower pressure and cleanliness were excellent. It pains me to mention the noise issue because the staff was so accommodating, but honesty is important. I will still rate this hotel highly for their effort and kindness. Please, always be truthful in advertising, as this detail significantly affected our stay.
