"We had an overall comfortable stay at Dormy Inn.
Location: It had a great location in Gangnam. It was only a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest train station with a small Olive Young, pharmacies, 7eleven/ GS25, cafes, and restaurants.
Room: The room was small especially if you have to open your luggage, but it was functional and the size was disclosed to us when booking. They offer basic amenities in the room (i.e. blow dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner) and if you required toothbrushes, plastic cutlery/ plates, etc it is available for purchase in a vending machine in the lobby beside a money exchange machine and a hot water/ tea/ coffee station. The bed was clean with standard sheets and pillows. They provided 2 pillows but we were able to ask for additional pillows at the front desk (they offer 3-4 types of pillows).
Lobby staff were multi-lingual, friendly, and helpful. We were able to check in 1 hr earlier than expected but we saw an area in the lobby where they kept luggages stored for those who tried to check in earlier.
Bathroom: The room was clean, but my only complaint was that the shower had some black mold.
Other amenities: They have laundry machines (cash only) located next to the spas. They also offer breakfast for an additional charge but we did not try the breakfast."
