“Room, breakfast and service all very good. Site difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. Using the postcode in the sat nav wasn't a good idea, better to use the signs for the forbidden corner which is on the same site.”

“Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place.”

“If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. There were so many extras included - books, binoculars, tea/coffee/hot chocolate/fresh...

Had all the amenities I needed in the room including hairdryer and drink glasses. Breakfast was simple but lovely. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable, I felt very at home. “The apartment was truly amazing, from the minute you enter the main door, there is a wonderful fragrance. Upon entering the apartment, the deco was ver tasteful and the technology with electric blinds and a mirrored tv were amazing. Its very specious and very clean.The best place I've stayed in.The location is walking distance to everything in Kirkby Lonsdale. The owner went above and beyond, checking we were happy with everything. ”

“This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. “A fantastic warm welcome. Beautiful room with everything we needed. The care put into the room was evident in all the personal details that ensured a comfortable stay. Bed soft and linen gorgeous. Horsey paintings added to the ambience as racehorses trotted by the window! Soothing and relaxing! Breakfast was the best ever in a b n b. Hostess Sharon made us feel like friends. Our dog loved it too!”
