“Staff at Ocean View are great. The hotel needs updating but is clean and room was good. However hotel swimming pool is closed and has been for some time. Also the hotel only does breakfast. We had booked to chill at the hotel use their restaurant and pool unfortunately this didn’t happen. Just needs to update advertising so on knows what to expect. View from room is fantastic which helped.”

“Lovely staff but not good property”

“The property is very nice. Looked very new inside and very clean. There were a few hiccups. The shower cut off for about 30 minutes in the middle of a shower. There were no linens for the sofa bed. The bar and restaurant are closed on Monday and Tuesday and I wasn't advised of this until I had already arrived in the UK. If it were not for those things, I would have given 5 stars.”

“What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....

“A lovely little hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the theatre and restaurants. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable … quite a small bathroom but fine for a night’s stay. It was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open one of the windows as the latch was broken. “Heerlijk verbleven daar tijdens ons 4dgs bezoek aan FOS Goodwood. Fijne mensen die het runnen. Parkeren deden we in de omgeving en was af en toe een uitdaging een plekkie te vinden, maar met vergunning wel gratis. Ondanks warme weer, zonder airco, met fan prima koel op onze kamer.”

“There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.”
