I enjoyed my stay at The Kenbury. It's close to the train station and the bus stop is close by. Nice property, lovely staff, comfy firm bed and a nice breakfast selection. Loved having a mini fridge in my room with fresh milk and water, but only quibble is that the fridge is a bit noisy. I would recommend The Kenbury to anyone wanting a nice and cosy place to stay in Shanklin

Thank you for your kind review, the fridge in you room is designed for hotel bedrooms and is as quiet as they make them. Sorry if you could still hear a noise from it.

We always welcome feedback, both good and bad as it's a key tool in trying to continually improve. Recieving a review like this is pointless as it is meaningless especially when nothing was mentioned during the stay and with no details of what was disappointing.I suggest all potential future guests read our 5 star reviews on this and other platforms to get a better more accurate view of the property

Great B&B
Very nice B&B and Paolo was great. Good breakfast, comfortable bed and kept very clean. A short walk to the Esplanade or into town. Only downside is parking, there was enough when we were there (even with the typical Mercedes driver taking 2 spaces!) but inconsiderate neighbours parked (or dumped!) their old vans outside making it tricky to get in and out. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Thank you for your review. We have space for 5-6 cars and occasionally the car park gets full. Living in a semi residential area means the roads are fine to park in but can get busy as most houses have multiple cars these days.

Cracking Guesthouse..You Wont Be Disappointed
A great guesthouse which is better than many 4star hotels. Staying in a Superior Room it was a good size, lovely and clean and with great extras such as separate "Dressing Room", fridge, fresh milk, complimentary water, pod coffee machine, slippers and towelling gowns.The usual tea & coffee facilities also had a wide choice including hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Breakfast was delicious cooked to order with plenty of self serve toast, cereals, juices, yogurts etc. to compliment. Service was brilliant. I chose this guesthouse on its reviews and was not disappointed. An excellent 3 day break our thanks to hosts Paulo and Paul.

A lovely family run hotel
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Kenbury, hotel seems almost too cold a word for this warm and friendly place. A good size room, clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast is top notch. Overall a very relaxed and peaceful stay. Ideal for connection to rail and bus links as well.

Clean and tidy, good sized en suite. Excellent breakfast. Handy location to walk into town for evening restaurants. Choice of Indian (2), Thai, Italian, English restaurants. If stairs are a problem, enquire about ground floor location.

Lovely Stay
We were given a very warm welcome. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choice. Our room was well presented and clean. Overall we had a lovely time. Couldn’t fault our accommodation.

We have an excellent stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and they would do anything to make our stay even more pleasant. We had room 2 which was clean and spacious and overlooked the garden. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The prior night we filled in a form for what cooked items we wanted and cold items were given out as a buffet at the time. There was hand sanitisers everywhere, including in the room, and we were even provided with a mask for trips out if we had forgotten our own. Nothing negative and we will be staying in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Helpfulness, cleanliness and attention to detail were the hallmarks of this well-run establishment. Details like face flannels and coat hooks were very much appreciated. The breakfast menu was very flexible; we could ask for any combination of what was available. This will be our first choice of places to stay on the Island.

Perfect. Paulo phoned us on the day of check in to say our room was ready for us and he and his partner were brilliant all weekend. Nice clean room and bedding tasty breakfast excellent local knowledge. They really wanted to make our stay the best it could be. Absolutely no qualms in recommending. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service and lovely breakfast. Spacious and comfortable. We had a family size one (2 adult and 2 kids). Location was good, not along the main road but can access both High Street and Shanklin Beach by 10-15 minutes walking distance

Paul and Paolo were very friendly hosts. Breakfast was excellent - no need for lunch! It is well positioned only 10 minutes walk from the seafront and there were plenty of nice places within walking distance for an evening meal. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Amazing! Exceptionally clean throughout and everything in good condition. Staff went out of the way to ensure guests had everything they wanted. Breakfast selection of cereals,bread, jams etc very extensive and cooked options wide and cooked to order. Location very good for island access whether on foot or by car.
