“The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!”

“The hotel and Bar which displaying signs of the Olde Worlde were nevertheless excellent for us. Clean premises, friendly and very helpful Staff and reasonably priced. We also like the surrounding area of cobbled street and since the premises was fronting on to the River Severn the view was just excellent. Siting outside the Pub alongside the River made for a very pleasant stay on a hot summers evening. Would like to stay there should we happen to be in the district again.”

“We stayed 4 nights arriving on Sunday. We had booked Sunday lunch and too be honest my beef lunch was not good especially the price you pay for it, but everything else about the stay was fantastic. The staff are brilliant and our room was perfect and spotless, we will definitely be staying again. ”
