“Our overall 4 night stay in Tokyo at the illi Tas was sub par. The facility itself was clean, modern but has not been maintained well. Freezer was not operational, Huge crack in Window, difficult to reach Management as no one is onsite, etc. Unfortunately Management team did not step up and compensate our stay in anyway hence we had to endure and facilitate for these issues during our stay as we had prepaid for our booking. Very disappointed in the overall Management of this property!”

“It was a reasonable stay. But slightly confusing. There is two properties for this address. Google maps brought us to the wrong one. They did not respond on Expedia within 2 hours. We resorted to WhatsApp that they replied in about 15 minutes. Being at the second property the door code worked but the lock box did not we waited for an hour before using whatsapp. The room is quite small and there is tables and chairs that just take up space. Barely enough room for 2 backpacks and a carry on...

“The bad: the bedroom had mold and the stairs leading to the bedrooms downstairs were a death trap. The good: communication and service were great. The location is unbeatable. They communicated the would get someone to come in clean and correct the problem, Tokyo has had a lot of rain. But the mold and mildew smell was so bad that we could not stay there. Late at night with a ton of luggage had to try and find a last minute hotel (which ended up costing a lot more money) they did refund...

“First, there are some pros to this apartment, but my experience was far from ideal. The smell in the apartment was overwhelming. It was so strong that I couldn’t sleep, and it persisted throughout my entire 3-day stay. The odor seemed to permeate everything—walls, curtains, and the entire living space. The owner kindly offered a cleaning service to help deodorize the apartment, but it made little difference. While I understand that some factors may be out of the owner’s control, I believe the...
