"Staff was excellent, asked what floor we’d like to stay, room spacious, airport shuttle drivers were engaging and helpful. Our only concern was the breakfast eggs were watery. It would be helpful to have a couple of gluten free bread options (e.g. muffins or bread for toast or Cheerios). "

"I recently stayed at Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA for four nights, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. On the first night, we could not sleep because the heater would not turn off. The temperature control did not work at all. We called the front desk, and an engineer came, but he said he could not fix it and suggested that if it was too hot, we should open the window. That was not an acceptable solution. After complaining again, we were finally moved to another room. In the second room, the AC control worked, but the unit was extremely loud. In addition, the refrigerator made constant, loud noise. Altogether, it was very difficult to rest. This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. To make matters worse, while changing rooms, one of my sweater shirts went missing. I reported it immediately to the front desk. They said housekeeping did not see it. I also spoke to the manager, but he said he could not help. I lost a personal item worth about $50, and there was no resolution. Overall, this stay was very disappointing. It would have been better to stay at a simple motel than here."

"No hot water and no communication. We had no hot water - like the hot water was turned off, it was ice cold and no faucet increased. We called, texted, and messaged through Expedia, and got no response. No one is on site. If I am paying this price for a lodge stay I expect to be able to have hot - or at the very least warm water. I didn’t want to give a bad review but I have emailed and messaged the hotel since then and only get automated responses. It was a disappointment because we like going to Vashon, but not sure we will try here again."

"This was a pre-flight stay, so we didn’t take advantage of any amenities. The room was nice, airport noise didn’t keep us awake. Convenient to SeaTac. "

"Our first room looked over dumpsters in an alley and had an overpowering smell of bleach. We were moved. Our new room did not smell but the smoke detector was covered with a trash bag (not safe), here was a giant wad of black tar on the floor, the toilet paper holder was not attached to the wall, there was a light that did not fit in the outlet so we had to request a converter, there was no indication if our room would be serviced (it wasn't had to ask for coffee/creamer etc.), and the bedding was worn and had hairs on it. Breakfast bar did not have hot water for the offered tea. We could hear snoring through the walls. Pros: the bathroom was clean (needs hooks to hang things), the towels were clean, the front desk staff was willing to show us other available rooms. The location was convenient but there is a bus stop in front of rooms and late at night there was yelling on streets. "

"My stay was short, so I didn't utilize any extra amenities, and can't really rate them ( thus the "good" rating ) but the room was clean, quiet and the night person working the desk was very kind. Great spot."
