I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. "The hotel is very conveniently located, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. However, this hotel only considers children up to the age of 12. When booking through Hotels.com, there is no warning, and children aged 13 and 16 can still be registered as children. As a result, additional charges are applied upon arrival. Please make sure to check this carefully before booking. It would be appreciated if Hotels.com could improve this to prevent such inconvenience."
