"1) they are NOT of any HI international standard. The Staff had check in, spoke no English and over charged us! There is no shared kitchen or even a microwave to warm up a meal. We are paying to sleep, and if you cannot sleep, then what is the point of paying being at a place???There were a rowdy bunch of 100 + boys! The staff, had no curfew to shut them up. there were so noisy and everyone screamed and shouted to each other and ran ruckus in the corridors of the buildings - from 7pm till 3pm.....

"I don't think hotels.com distinguishes between rooms with or without a balcony. I reserved a Standard Room and fortunately, I was assigned one of these rooms. The balcony is wonderful, providing a 180-degree view of the town and surrounding hills. Room and facility features and services were as advertised and as expected, consistent with the other HI hostels where I have stayed. "This is such a lovely little hotel. The location is great – within a short walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, bars, and cafes – and there's free parking in an area where finding parking can be challenging. The house is beautiful and very nicely renovated. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the upstairs common room, where you can have free sweets and drinks in front of amazing views, is a real bonus. The hosts, Shimon and Carmit, are extremely nice, helpful, accommodating, and generous. Getting to know them was a pleasure. For breakfast, we received vouchers for the nearby Shtroudl restaurant, which was surprisingly pleasant (with a lot of options, huge portions, good service, and great food). All in all, we enjoyed staying here and would love to come back."
