โA lovely traditional Hotel, the owners have paid careful attention to detail in all respects to fully accommodate their guests, I would highly recommend this friendly and wonderfully presented Hotelโ
โA little gem. Had a fantastic weekend stay at The Smugglers. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome. The restaurant served superb steaks cooked on their charcoal grill.
thank you Mark and Emily and all the staff. They are a real credit to your hard work in making this hotel a lovely place to unwind and relax. Andrew and Samโ
โA wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. The garden was great especially in the evenings and the bar was reasonably priced. All the staff we met were happy to chat or recommend a place to go.

โGary and Phil were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and easy to talk to, their hospitality was amazing, the room it's self was perfect, clean and modern, breakfast like everything else was faultless. Lovely garden too. If you choose to stay anywhere in Torquay, you wouldn't find a better place than here. โ
โLast minute overnight work stop, made to feel very welcome especially considering how unexpected I was. The place has been decorated to a very high standard and kept its character. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended would definitely stay again. โ
โA delightful place to stay. Right on the sea with a splendid terrace. Restaurant, bar service, swimming pools, a gym and lots of free parking. A splendid hotel for a base to explore south Devon.
A lift is available for most floors.โ
โReally lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated.
Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise.
Beautiful 19th century property.
Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??!
Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety.
Would definitely stay again if in Torquay.
We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct.โ
โLovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.โ
โLovely B&B tucked out the way but not too far from the seafront and town. Host was amazing, friendly and really helpful and she is what makes this place a great place to stay. Look forward to coming back again in the near future!โ
