"We had a Premium Grand room, which came with access to 45th floor lounge, and that made the difference, with great views over Tokyo at breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails/snacks hours - including sunsets. Worth the extra money. Hotel location is very good for transport, shops, bars and restaurants (but not TOO close)"
"The room was clean and tidy, although I wish we had a view of the kokugikan. The beds were much firmer than we are used to, which was expected as we have stayed at APA hotels before.
The spa was nice with many different baths to choose from. We had breakfast at the Veranda once and it was okay, however we definitely found better value & better tasting food elsewhere.
The biggest reason why I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is the elevators. They are super busy at most times, expect long waits to go down to the lobby or up to your floor, and expect to pass by multiple elevators as they will be full when they stop on your floor. One of the biggest annoyances is that the elevator will fill up with people from guest room floors heading to the spa, then on its way back up it will be already full from people leaving the spa and going back to their rooms. So people waiting in the lobby have no choice but to wait even longer for an elevator with space in it."
