A lovely room, hosts were extremely helpful, there some noise from the nearby kitchen, but this did not detract our enjoyment of our stay.

Le Aquile is so central to Il Campo and right in the heart of Siena but the rooms are really quiet and tranquil. The building is beautiful and historic and the rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Ada and Massimo couldn’t have been more helpful and gave great recommendations for local restaurants and tourist attractions. We ended up extending our 3 days to 5 days. Extremely reasonably priced given the location. Highly recommend staying at Le Aquile. Only slight word of warning is that the accommodations are up two or four flights of stairs and there is no elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage (although both Ada and Massimo were very quick to assist and grab our heavy suitcases).

Posizione meravigliosa! Nella zona più centrale di Siena, in un palazzo antico. La camera era spaziosa e arredata con mobili vecchi/antica, la sensazione è quella di stare ospiti nella casa ricca di una vecchia zia (comprese le parti comuni). Personale gentilissimo e super disponibile. Bagno basico. Caffè e te a disposizione.

Great location, very authentic. It’s the historic part of town, and you know going in the bathroom isn’t attached. The staff was great. It was terribly hot outside and the AC in room was solid. Highly recommend.

This is a fair experience. This accomodation is an 8-room guesthouse -not a hotel in the traditional sense. It advertises as bed-and-breakfast but there is no breakfast. It’s main pro is its superb location, just few steps from Siena’s main square. Also, its manager is really customer oriented and tries his best to make you feel comfortable. Things to improve: its a/c doesn’t really cool due to room size and door/windows unsealed. The bathroom is extremely unsafe. Yet i recommend it for solo or young couples traveling on budget for 1 or 2 nights max.

Ada was so helpful! She gave us so many recommendations to go see and how to save time & money when visiting touristy areas! The place was very clean. It has been newly restored in recent years but was still charming. About a 30 minute walk from the train station, or 10 minute taxi. I recommend the walk, as you see so many unique parts of the city along the way!

We really enjoyed our stay at this small guesthouse in old Siena! The highlight was the older, antique style property with original furnishings in an incredibly central location. The room was very clean, although we struggled a little with shower pressure. Huge compliments to the staff, who were welcoming and gave us wonderful sightseeing and dining recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this little gem!

As others have mentioned, Ada is very helpful and all staff are friendly. Excellent location. Comfortable bed. I love older, charming hotels, and I look for places with personality, and the photos posted here by the hotel got me excited, but I was disappointed with our dated room. The lighting was depressing, the floors needed a good deep cleaning and maybe an area rug, and the bathroom was functional, but tired. I think the photos posted here by the hotel are from many years ago. There’s no breakfast, btw, which I knew, but why call it a B&B?

Achei incrível a experiência. Recomendo a hospedagem.
