We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very helpful & friendly. The lobby, breakfast room and back garden are very charming. The garden view is unparalleled. Our room was comfortable, clean & quiet. The breakfast had so many high quality choices to choose from (even gluten free). We highly recommend!!

Host and employees were genuinely very inviting and welcoming. The room we were assigned was in great condition but was a loft style and after a lot of walking was a bit uncomfortable having to go up and down the stairs to get to the bathroom. (We did a lot of walking in Rome and Florence before getting to Siena) Shower pressure and hot water was amazing!!! View and breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Thank you.

It all starts with a welcoming staff, and this hotel has the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered. Add to that the location, the excellent breakfast, and the cleanliness of the hotel, and it’s definitely one of the best stays at a hotel I’ve ever had.

Charming hotel not far from the city center

Hotel Santa Caterina is a charming hotel a short walk from Porta Romana in the southern part of Siena. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was fine and clean with a comfortable bed. It had a beatiful view out to the Tuscan countryside. A nice breakfast was served in the beautiful soroundings of the hotel's garden. You can walk from the hotel to Il Campo in the center of the old city in about 20 minutes. The hotel is only a 12 minutes walk away from restaurants and cafés. I can absolutely recomend Hotel Santa Caterina.

Front desk staff was helpful and spoke Fluent English. There is a bus stop close by, but I just walked the old stone streets. They have a nice garden overlooking the nearby hills. Breakfast was well prepared, and the staff preparing they accommodated me.

This property was lovely, the rooms were clean and comfortable, beds were a bit firm. We had breakfast included and there was a lot of variety and it was very delicious. The staff was outstanding and very friendly, spoke excellent English. The garden area was beautiful and they had a bar so you could enjoy the beautiful view with a cold drink. It was a short walk into the walled city of Siena which had lots of dining and shopping options. I would recommend this property

Wonderful Hotel, great service, great location

Hotel Santa Caterina was wonderful, rooms a bit small, but comfortable. The view of the Tuscan hillside from their garden balcony (where we had breakfast) was especially beautiful. The only flaw was their window shutters did not let in enough light, offering no view, and leaving the room very dark all the tme!!
