Silver Peak Wilderness, Big Sur hotel rooms at the Pacifica Hotels

"Room was comfortable and clean. Access to the beach was good although the road gets a little busy. Drivers seem to know to watch as the street is lined with hotels. "

"Overall great place for the price. Easy walking to the beach and boardwalk path. Beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast could have been better. We got there half way through and there was very little left. "

"The hot tub was hot enough but being a Saturday night three were a lot of noisy kids having fun. I went back in the morning at quieter hours. Dog friendly hotel but not allowed in pool area so my wife and I had to take turns or put her in the car. Dogs also not allowed in the room by themselves quite reasonable. The place was clean and well run with staff behind the scenes. Sometimes returning late from dinner you lose your spot by your door but there’s always a spot somewhere on the street a short walk away. We come for the price in San Simeon. Monterey can be twice as much. We always eat at Big Sur. Been meaning to try manta ray a little more expensive for a special occasion. "
