We stayed at the castle while visiting the Cambria area. The room we stayed in was super clean and nice, plus the bathroom was upgraded and even had a hair dryer. The continental breakfast was decent too. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling with kids

This is a hidden gem. It’s an upgraded motel, but very nicely done. Be prepared for a traditional motel with rooms around the inner parking lot. It is right across the street from Moonstone beach, which is beautiful. They have a small pool and jacuzzi. The best part is Adirondack chairs and a fire out to watch the sunset. Very nice.

No shops except in Cambria which requires a drive. Pool is comfortable. Rooms were clean and nice size. No rooms with balconies, so you have to sit in the lawn chairs if you want to enjoy the view.

Such a great place to stay. We stayed three nights and got the ocean view king room - it did not disappoint. Second story unit had a clear view over the parking lot and road for a surreal view from the room. Moonstone boardwalk accessible directly across the street for a nice walk anytime of day. Super close to historic downtown for extra food options and shopping. Room was clean, housekeeping was on point every day. Breakfast is nothing great but the pancake maker and bread/cereal/yogurt/fruit options give a balanced, light start to your day. The staff was amazing all the way through. Just good vibes. Will be back to one of their sister properties for more exploring and comfort.
