“We had booked two rooms for one night. Since we arrived early, I requested early check-in, but was informed it would be chargeable.
The hotel was almost empty and the rooms were ready, yet the staff insisted on charging the full early check-in fee. I even requested that we be given just one room initially (and be charged for that), with the option to move into both rooms at the standard check-in time. This request was also declined.
As a result, we were required to pay the early check-in charges...
