For a very short stay good value for price
Sehr freundlich, alles sauber, aber keine Fenster und viel zu klein um irgendwo etwas abzulegen
Not a pleasant room.
First issue:
Upon checking in, found out that they’ve changed my reservation for classic room with doublebed to shared room with 2 single beds. I asked why the change and he gave the excuse that they ran out of classic rooms. Tried to reassure me by stating that shared room is actually better because it’s bigger than classic room, and repeatedly said that they’ve pushed the 2 single beds together so that it’s almost the same as a double bed. Almost. But not the same at all. The great discomfort of having a gap in between two beds is astounding.
Second issue:
The general uncleanliness of the room is hard to ignore. From the toilet walls to bedsheets and pillow cover. Especially the toilet walls. Also, I spotted ants crawling around the toilet sink. But I’m glad it’s just ants and nothing more. The shower is fine only if you enjoy toggling between scalding hot and plain cold with no in between.
Third issue:
The aircon was dripping onto the bed when we first switched on. But it was ok after awhile. It took at least one long hour for the room (despite its cosy size) to feel cold. The tv has boring channels so you’ll have to find alternatives for entertainment.
Forth issue:
Upon checking out, they forgot about my $100 cash deposit. I have exited the property, only to self-realise, and walk back to the counter and when I reminded him about it, he gave me the “oh... yeah” look and awkward laugh. Accountable much?
