"This hotel is obviously targetted at tourists. The consideration for repeat business is low. Food looked lovely but the chicken was overcooked and the cod should have been thrown away rather than cooked. Disappointed overall A 500 pound evening and stay that was not worth half that value. Stay away if you want more than a sleep in the river Thames "

"Overall would recommend. The room was clean and the city was easy to reach in not too much time. The building is quite old and there are flaws like the elevators getting stuck and it was a bit hard to find the rooms. Except from that the room are quite modern, clean and big (we were in the family room which was very big). Staff was mostly friendly with one exception when we checked in. I would say since it’s very cheap and huge that’s kind of expected and it was mostly self service which is obviously fine but you shouldn’t make your guest feel dumb when they have a question and the system isn’t working. Given the price performance ratio that would be my only negative point and overall we were quite happy "

"The place is nice but the service and the respect for guests are below average. 1st they ask for a deposit even after you pay for the entire stay. I found it odd... The deposit they ask for varies per person without reason... Maybe based on the way you look... Then, it takes up to 5 working days to refund your deposit after you leave. Also, be aware that they sell sweets and biscuts at the reception not at the bar, but if you want a biscut with a tea you purchase in the bar, it is not possible; The bar "does not accept food purchased at the reception""
